With the rapid development of Internet infrastructure and application in China,the learning form using the Internet as the carrier has penetrated into the field of education,making the basic education undergoing tremendous changes quietly.The COVID-19 suddenly burst out in 2020,which has greatly affected the educational field.So offline teaching has to be transferred to online teaching based on the Internet.However,compared with developed areas,there is a big gap in the quality of education in underdeveloped areas of our country,and the situation of online learning is also more complicated.Compared with the primary school students in the online learning environment,the middle school students have higher information literacy,stronger learning awareness and purpose,and clearer learning feedback from surveys.Therefore,this paper will take the middle school students as the main research object.On the basis of literature research and questionnaire survey,this paper will explore the participation current situation in this large-scale online learning of the middle school students in underdeveloped areas,so as to find out the problems and explore improvement countermeasures.The article is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction.On the basis of expounding the research background,literature research is carried out to sort out the research status and development trend at home and abroad.Then it puts forward the theoretical significance and application value of this study,and clarifies the research methods and ideas.The second part is the concept definition.The basic concepts and related theories involved in this study are defined.The third part is the analysis of the current situation.Through the analysis of the questionnaire,the problems existing in the current situation of online learning of the middle school students in underdeveloped areas were discovered.According to the four elements of Berlo's SMCR information dissemination theory,the problems are classified and the causes are analyzed.It mainly involves teachers,knowledge content,online learning platform and students.The fourth part is the countermeasure improvement.The author takes the reasons behind the problems as a starting point,combined with the results of data analysis and related learning theories,and proposes to update the concept of educators and improve the technical level of teachers;promote the application of blended learning model and process the knowledge presentation forms rationally;strengthen the cooperation between government,enterprise and school and establish a good supervision and evaluation system,so as to improve students' information literacy,promote home-school communication and the other corresponding improvement countermeasures.The fifth part is the research reflection.By reflecting on the deficiencies of the research,this paper looks forward to the future research in this field.Although online learning in underdeveloped areas started late,it faces many obstacles,it is believed that with the continuous exploration and research of more scholars and the help of all sectors of society,the quality of online learning of the middle school students in underdeveloped areas will continue to improve.In the future,online learning will become a powerful tool for the balanced development of education in our country and promote the development of education.
