Aesthetic education is an important part of all-round development education and an important content of school education.Aesthetic education plays an important role in promoting the comprehensive development of students and is an important way to shape the perfect personality of college students.However,the current situation of aesthetic education in colleges and universities is not optimistic.Compared with moral,intellectual and physical education,it is still in a weak position.Based on this,this study makes a comparative analysis of the problems existing in the practice of aesthetic education in the two universities,and puts forward suggestions based on relevant theories and policies,in order to further implement the work of aesthetic education in universities and highlight the value of aesthetic education in universities.This study consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction: show the value and significance of the research,sort out the relevant literature,and clarify the theoretical basis.The second chapter is the investigation of the current situation: to the two universities of the actual investigation of aesthetic education,pointed out the existing problems.The third chapter dilemma analysis: through the existence of the problems to reflect the plight of aesthetic education practice in colleges and universities.Chapter 4 Reflections and Suggestions: Based on Schiller's and Cai Yuanpei's aesthetic education theories and related aesthetic education policies,the author puts forward some suggestions on the development of aesthetic education in colleges and universities.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect,which explains the conclusion of this research and indicates the future research direction.Through investigation and analysis,this study concludes that the aesthetic education practices in the two universities are different.In terms of organization,University A carries out aesthetic education around the school of aesthetic education,while University B carries out aesthetic education as an art education center.In terms of operation mechanism,A University established an expert committee and A student committee in combination with the Youth League Committee of the University,and B University established A normal working contact mechanism and A coordination mechanism of special working groups with the art education center as the core.There are some problems in the organization and operation of aesthetic education in the two universities,such as the passive implementation of aesthetic education and the lack of guarantee of aesthetic education resources.In the way of development,both universities carry out the in-class and after-class aesthetic education.In the aspect of aesthetic education in class,there are some problems,such as low sense of identity of aesthetic education content,imperfect evaluation system,intellectual cultivation of aesthetic education methods,deviation of educational objectives,single subject of aesthetic education and ineffective integration of resources.In extra-curricular aesthetic education,there exists the phenomenon of attaching importance to the few while undervaluing the whole and the problem of formalization of aesthetic education activities.In the effect of aesthetic education activities,we know that students' aesthetic consciousness,aesthetic emotion,aesthetic ability and aesthetic accomplishment are not sufficiently improved,and they have not produced real aesthetic edification for students.The above problems reflect the current dilemmas of aesthetic education in colleges and universities: the contradictions between the national top-level design and the habitual pattern of aesthetic education in colleges and universities;the contradictions between the construction of the system of "big aesthetic education" and the evaluation indexes of aesthetic education in colleges and universities;the contradictions between the urgent needs of aesthetic education practice in colleges and universities and the lack of professional teachers.On this basis,in order to make the work of aesthetic education implemented,this study puts forward suggestions from the following four aspects: the concept of aesthetic education: the implementation of aesthetic education leading the school,strengthening the organization and management of aesthetic education,creating an aesthetic education atmosphere on campus;In terms of curriculum setting,we should build an integrated aesthetic education curriculum system,pay attention to the comprehensiveness and level of content,and pay attention to the interactivity and diversity of forms.In terms of teaching arrangement,we should excavate the elements of aesthetic education in teaching,establish professional teaching staff,and perfect the evaluation and examination of aesthetic education.On the development of activities:based on the excellent cultural tradition,the organization of aesthetic education activities,promote the innovation of aesthetic practice.Therefore,under the efforts of all aspects,we should further strengthen and improve the work of aesthetic education in colleges and universities,so that aesthetic education will become the backbone of all-round development education.
