With the in-depth reform and development of quality education,the importance of music education in the process of human growth is more and more recognized by everyone,and school music classrooms have become one of the main ways to implement aesthetic education.As the foundation of music learning,music theory knowledge is an indispensable link in the process of music teaching.Elementary school is the beginning of basic education and a critical period for students to develop their basic knowledge of music.At this stage,helping students master the necessary music learning "tools" will have a profound impact on students' future music training and even their lives.The purpose of this research is to investigate the problems in the teaching of music theory knowledge in elementary school music classes,using questionnaire,interview and observation methods to investigate the students,teachers and music classrooms of Z elementary school.Through the analysis of the survey results,it is found that there are fewer music activities in schools and insufficient training of teachers.Teachers have less time to teach music theory knowledge,teaching methods are relatively simple,the content setting is not reasonable enough,and the opportunities for students to practice music theory are less.,The students' enthusiasm for learning music theory knowledge is not high,the number of participants in the classroom is small,and only a small number of students will review and consolidate the knowledge they have learned after class.Based on the attribution analysis of the above problems,this article finally puts forward some countermeasures to improve the teaching of music theory knowledge.The school organizes related campus activities to arouse teachers and students 'attention to music theory knowledge,increase investment,train teachers,help teachers update knowledge and learn advanced teaching methods,and the music theory knowledge content of school-based textbooks is closely linked with music textbooks to help students improve Good study and mastery.Teachers should base on the teaching of music theory knowledge and attach importance to the teaching of music theory knowledge.In the teaching,according to the age characteristics of students,use flexible and diverse teaching methods,and the content should be set up reasonably to form a coherent and systematic teaching of music theory knowledge.Students should establish a correct understanding of music theory knowledge,take the initiative to participate in teaching,and timely review and consolidate the content taught by the teacher after class to facilitate mastering.In short,schools,teachers,and students should work together to promote better teaching of music theory in elementary schools,help students master the necessary "tools" for music learning,and lay a solid foundation for music learning in the future.
