Poverty is the root of all the misfortunes in human life and a universal problem in today’s world.Under the great attention and correct leadership of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council,China has always adhered to development-oriented poverty alleviation in its long-term poverty alleviation work,formulated and implemented a series of medium and long-term poverty alleviation programs,explored a path of rural poverty alleviation and development that suits China’s national conditions,and contributed China’s experience to the cause of poverty reduction around the world.As a fundamental way to get rid of poverty,education is of great value in alleviating relative poverty.Help the poor and support the wise;help the wise and support the teachers.As support,education poverty alleviation of rural primary school teachers are in poor condition in the youth set up the consciousness of free-standing self-improvement,to boost the confidence of the key external force,growing role in the education poverty alleviation,but its role in rural primary school teachers’ education poverty alleviation remain education consciousness,lack for poverty alleviation,and many other problems,restricting the development of education poverty alleviation,which makes the further study of the role of rural primary school teachers’ education poverty reduction is necessary.Through sorting out and analyzing relevant policies and literature on poverty alleviation through education,this study determined to use interview,questionnaire survey and classroom observation to explore the current situation of poverty alleviation by teachers’ education in Y primary school,S primary school,W primary school,X primary school,Z primary school and M primary school in Q city.First of all,through teacher interviews,to understand the rural primary school teachers’ understanding of poverty alleviation through education;In their teaching practice,they play the role of increasing power,enabling,strengthening ambition and promoting wisdom.They want to make poverty alleviation efforts in the future education and teaching work and their expectations for the role of education in poverty alleviation.Secondly,through classroom observation,we further understand the situation of rural primary school teachers playing the role of poverty alleviation through education based on the classroom and the main position of the campus,and find out whether their cognition of the role of poverty alleviation through education is really implemented in specific education and teaching.Finally,the rural primary school teachers were investigated by questionnaire.Questionnaires were distributed to understand the self-efficacy of rural primary school teachers in the role of poverty alleviation through education as well as the specific practice of poverty alleviation through education,and the status quo of their role in poverty alleviation through education and their self-cognition of the quality of poverty alleviation through education were deeply analyzed.The results show that the rural primary school teachers have a weak sense of poverty alleviation responsibility,and the concept of poverty alleviation through education has a deviation.The role of power augmentation is nihilized,which aggravates the poor students’ weak sense of power.It is difficult to sustain the capacity building of poor students due to the poor role of empowerment.The initiative of cultivating ambition is lost,and it is difficult to arouse the spiritual world of poor students.The function of promoting intelligence is absent,and the shortcoming of poor students’ academic achievement is prominent.Many problems such as the waste of poverty alleviation resources in school education and the dissimilation of examination system.Therefore,this study puts forward countermeasures to further play the role of poverty alleviation through teacher education in rural primary schools:the government should make overall arrangements and clear management to fully guarantee the role of poverty alleviation through teacher education;Schools should plan systematically and advance step by step,and serve as an important engine for teachers to play their role in poverty alleviation through education.Teachers should consciously identify themselves and practice actively to provide motivation for their role in poverty alleviation through education.Family and community cooperation and multi-layer linkage provide backup support for the full play of the role of poverty alleviation through teacher education,so as to optimize the role of poverty alleviation through teacher education. |
