With the further development of China's social and basic education reform,the issue of after-school "decontrol" of students has become an increasingly important public issue.Under the leadership of the Ministry of Education,local governments have issued implementation plans to promote the implementation of after-school services in primary and secondary schools,and have made significant achievements.The national "14th Five-Year Plan" calls for vigorous development of rural economy and improvement of school quality in rural areas.After-school services,as a service approach that closely links society,schools and families,can effectively promote educational equity and achieve comprehensive development of students.Therefore,after-school services have become an important opportunity to promote the development of rural elementary school with special characteristics.It is necessary to conduct a systematic investigation and research on the development status,effectiveness and problems of after-school services in rural elementary school,and actively explore a development path suitable for after-school services in rural elementary school,so as to take advantage of rural resources to promote the development of after-school services.This thesis takes Fumin Primary School in Mengyin County as the research object.Firstly,it takes diversified development as the entry point and composes the research basis of diversified development of after-school service from both policy and theoretical basis.Second,a combination of case study,questionnaire,interview and observation methods was used to investigate the current situation of the implementation of diversified development of after-school services in Fumin Primary School.The research was conducted to discuss and analyze the basic information of the respondents,their awareness of after-school services,their participation,and the effectiveness of the diversified development of after-school services.Among them,the awareness of after-school service includes six aspects: service time,content,teachers,fees,management,and evaluation,and the effectiveness of diversified development of after-school service in Fumin Primary School is clearly shown in the paper through data integration and analysis.In addition,from the results of the author's analysis,it can also be seen that there are unreasonable aspects in the diversified development of after-school services in Fumin elementary school,including the formalization of service content and lack of implementation,the difficulty of staffing teachers and the heavy burden of teachers,the tilted system of fees and weak welfare,the poor implementation of supervision and the low utility of evaluation.By reviewing the literature,we found that the deep-seated reasons behind these problems are mainly insufficient cognition of after-school services to achieve the diversified development goals,insufficient integration of resources to limit the space for diversified development of after-school services,insufficient teachers to hinder the progress of diversified development of after-school services,and unsound supervision and evaluation system to restrict the direction of diversified development of after-school services.In order to better promote the development process of diversified after-school services in rural elementary school,the author puts forward corresponding suggestions on the existing problems.Firstly,to deepen the cognition of after-school service and realize the goal of diversified development;secondly,to optimize the diversified resources of after-school service and actively expand the space construction;to stimulate the participation of diversified subjects in after-school service and improve the sharing of teacher resources;finally,to scientifically improve the supervision and evaluation system of diversified after-school service.
