Educational communication is a new discipline formed after the birth of communication and p edagogy.It has radiated great vitality and vigor since its birth.High school history classroom tea ching itself is a special form of educational communication activities.The relevant theoretical re search results of educational communication are applied to high school history classroom teachin g,It has important theoretical and practical value.On the one hand,it can adapt to the developme nt of information technology in history education and solve the new problems emerging in high s chool history classroom teaching;On the other hand,it can inject new vitality into the current de velopment of high school history classroom teaching.Therefore,it is a new challenge for history teachers to examine history classroom teaching in senior high school through educational comm unication theory and combine relevant scientific theoretical knowledge,communication elements and research methods with the disciplinary characteristics of history in senior high school.Next,the research of high school history classroom teaching is mainly carried out from two aspects of theoretical basis and practical application.The full text is divided into four parts: the first part is the theory of educational communicatio n and high school history classroom teaching,respectively introduces the communication,educat ional communication and several typical educational communication theory.Then it analyzes the elements,process and basic mode of education communication in the process of high school hist ory classroom teaching.And on this basis,it puts forward the practical significance of applying t he theory of educational communication to high school history classroom teaching.The second p art is in the perspective of educational communication theory,combined with appropriate teachin g practice cases,points out the common problems of current high school history teaching,and th en analyzes the causes of the problems from three aspects of teachers,students and teaching cont ent.The third part involves the application of the theory of "use and satisfaction","gatekeeper","common meaning space" and "media is information" to solve the problems in the process of high school history classroom teaching.The fourth part summarizes the application steps of high sch ool history classroom teaching under the guidance of educational communication theory,taking t he lesson "May 4th Movement and the birth of the Communist Party of China" in the unified edit ion of the textbook "outline of Chinese and foreign history(Part I)" as an example,and carries ou t the corresponding teaching case analysis.
