Now society's demand for comprehensive talents is getting higher and higher.Education needs to promote the development of students' innovative ability and the ability to use interdisciplinary knowledge to solve real-life problems.STEAM education was born under this background.In the "General High School Art Curriculum Standards(2017)" issued in 2018,it is proposed to cultivate students' core literacy and learn in problem situations.The STEAM education philosophy advocates the creation of an open environment,allowing students to solve practical problems in real life based on interdisciplinary knowledge.Students break the barriers between disciplines in the learning process,use interdisciplinary knowledge with internal connections,and communicate and create through cooperation.Improve the art quality,comprehensive ability and innovation ability.This article mainly studies the following three questions: how to design the paper art club activities based on the STEAM education concept;how to design and implement the specific links of the paper art club activities;And what kind of influence this club activity will have on students' interest in art and paper art,the related capabilities have.The core content of the thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is based on the concept,connotation,characteristics,and framework of STEAM education proposed by literature study scholars,combined with the characteristics of paper art club activities in school education,with the theory of "learning by doing",the theory of situational education,and interdisciplinary Fusion theory and multiple intelligence theory serve as the theoretical support for activity design,and summarize the design principles combining comprehensiveness and innovation,and learner-centered design principles.After establishing the theoretical basis and design principles of event design,the second part establish the thinking and framework of event design.Including the four major stages of activity design: theme selection,goal setting,knowledge construction and teaching evaluation integrated design;seven specific steps:establishing goals,determining practice carriers,designing thematic contexts,dividing themes,artistic expression,and problem-solving projects,Overall evaluation.In the third part,the paper art club activities,according to this framework,a suitable activity goals for elementary school students are established,paper-cutting,three-dimensional paper sculptures and origami are selected as carriers,and the theme of saving paper and protecting the environment is designed,divided.Organize the performance content,follow the engineering process and evaluation design,refine and explain each step of the activity.Subsequently,the author carried out the activity in the primary school paper art club,and obtained the following conclusions through questionnaire,interviews,and diversified evaluations of students' learning process and learning achievements:After the implementation of this activity,most students believe that their interest in art and paper art has increased,and their ability to use art content as a carrier to integrate knowledge from other disciplines to solve real-life problems has improved.Most students think that their skills in paper art have been greatly improved and have changed their understanding of paper art.All students in the club feel the interdisciplinary nature of the activity and think that it is more enjoyable to communicate and cooperate with classmates in the activity.Thusly,it can be concluded that the goal of this activity has basically achieved.
