China has always placed education in the strategic position of priority development.As education develops better and better,more and more attention is paid to the psychological aspects of students.Modern education advocates“learner-centered ”,that is,affirming the subjective value of individual,promoting people's subjectivity,respecting the subject status of the educated,and advocating the notion that “teaching should be carried out around learning” so as to maximize students' internal potential,stimulate their learning motivation,make them change from passive acceptance to active exploration,and let the education process become a process of students' autonomous activities and self-construction,which has made the cultivation of subjective initiative a hot issue.Mathematics as a basic subject occupies an important position in all disciplines,and therefore cultivating learners' initiative in this subject contributes to mobilizing their internal motivation,guiding learners to explore mathematics and enjoy learning it.In order to understand the current status of the subjective initiative of junior high school students in mathematics learning,find out the factors that affect students' subjective initiative,and put forward relevant suggestions accordingly,the present study adopted literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and educational measurement method to conduct this research.This study investigated A and B middle schools in Yulin,Shaanxi Province and C middle school in Tianshui City,Gansu Province.Through questionnaire surveys to students and interviews with teachers,it was found that the factors affecting junior high school students' low subjective initiative in mathematics learning consist of three aspects.Firstly,students' lack of interest in mathematics,weak ability to complete independently,getting used to being arranged and some bad learning habits without any plan.Secondly,teachers' factors include inadequate analysis of learning situation,too much attention to the results,neglect of principles,lack of mathematical culture,single assessment method and less time for students' autonomy.Thirdly,family factors are mainly due to the importance and concern of family,which makes students stressed,poor communication and less independent space.In response to the above influencing factors,some of corresponding teachers' strategies in this study were proposed: pay attention to real-time learning conditions,appropriately adjust the teaching content,enrich teaching methods and stimulate learners' learning motivation,extend independent time and promote independent thinking,change evaluation methods and strengthen effective communication,improve teaching process,and develop good learning habits.And the strategies for parents: listen to children's hearts,effectively bring them closer together,cooperate with school work,create a healthy atmosphere,treat scores correctly,encourage learning with love,encourage extracurricular activities,and reduce physical and mental stress.This research aims to improve junior high school students' subjective initiative in mathematics learning,respond to the call of the Party Central Committee,and promote the development of quality education.At the same time,it also provides reference for teachers and parents to enhance the teaching effect and promotes the growth of students.
