The reform of new curriculum has been implemented for many years, so theconcept of regarding students’ development as foundation is also growing in popularity.To achieve this requirement and improve the efficiency of teaching, we have to renewour teaching modes. Learning-plan teaching mode is one of the effective modes. In thispaper, a survey of students’ self-learning ability under the learning-plan pattern in seniorhigh school is carried out, focusing on the analysis of their self-learning ability, andstrategies are put forward to explore how to improve their self-learning ability on math.In order to know more about students’ self-learning ability on math under thelearning-plan pattern in senior high school, researching methods of questionnaires andindividual interviews are mainly used in this paper. The entire study is divided into threeparts. The first part briefly introduces some achievement about self-learning ability athome and abroad as well as some of the documents related to the research. The secondpart is the survey of students’ self-learning ability on math under the learning-planpattern in senior high school. From the questionnaire made by writer herself accordingto some related theory, the writer finds out that although students have great difficultiesin learning math, they still show enough interest in it and hope to get a better learningguidance and help. Under the learning-plan pattern, students generally feel that not onlytheir learning efficiency but also their learning autonomy has been improved, but theyare lack of sense of ownership in the class. The third part mainly discusses the strategiesof improving students’ self-learning ability through three stages--before class, duringclass and after class.
