According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard of Chinese in senior high school,Chinese curriculum should be based on core literacy and give full play to its educational function.This paper includes the introduction and four chapters.The introduction introduces the research background and reason,research significance,research status and research methods.Research methods are mainly use comparative method and chart.The second chapter analyze the monthly examination of all classes from grade one to grade three.Students' answers are counted in order to find problems they have in contemporary Chinese reading comprehension.The third chapter mainly analyzes the problem-solving methods of contemporary Chinese reading test.On the one hand,analysis is done in accordance with the characteristics of different genres of articles,on the other hand,some rules of solving problems are summed up on the basis of the relationship among the article,the question and the answer.The contemporary Chinese reading comprehension mainly investigates students' thinking ability and expression ability.Thinking ability is the ability to understand the text.Expression ability,that is,the results presented to the examiner.The fourth chapter aims to explore the current situation of reading class in high school.By means of observation,communication with students,and literature review,we learned that high school students lack initiative in reading,they think little about the text and pay more attention to the progress and ending of the plot.The teaching form and method of reading class are monotonous,so it is difficult for reading class to be active.To solve these problems,this paper puts forward some practical advice.The fifth chapter mainly illustrates the teaching content and teaching process of reading class.During this period,teachers carry out the whole book reading activities,with the help of teachers,students interpret literary works.This paper takes The Ordinary World as an example to show students' reading situation and summarize the effect of the activity.Finally,teacher should exercise students' ability to answer questions.Students should master the skills of answering questions in different types of articles,not only have an overall understanding of the article,but also quickly screen out the key points of answering questions.Reading is an important way for people to acquire knowledge,and the improvement of reading ability is of great importance for every student.Contemporary Chinese reading comprehension is a test for students' Chinese level,which can truly reflect students' understanding of the article and their mastery of knowledge.Reading teaching has a long way to go.Different students have different sensitivity to the text and their educational environment are also different.Teacher should take high school textbooks as the basis,expand the scope of teaching appropriately,and cultivate students' Chinese core literacy.When most of the students can really understand the article,it shows that the reading teaching has also been implemented.What kind of reading teaching is effective needs to be proved by practice.In high school,if students can fully improve their reading comprehension ability,it will benefit them.Therefore,we should attach great importance to contemporary Chinese reading.
