Student's growth lies on the teacher's instruction.The development of private middle school can't live without high-quality teacher's support.However,the exertion of teachers' initiative needs to be regulated and guided by healthy systems.This paper talks about the teacher performance management of private middle school from Zhongshan.Based on the methods of literature review,comparison analysis and questionnaire survey,this paper explores the current situation,problems and causes of performance management of private middle school teachers in X District of Zhongshan,and designs corresponding solutions with the help of performance management theory and hierarchy of needs theory.This paper is made of five chapters and draws the following key conclusions:firstly,the problems of performance management of private middle school teachers in X District of Zhongshan mainly include:the current performance management dimension fails to meet the needs of teacher management,the index design of the current performance management dimension is lack of balance,and the index right of the current performance management is not strictly implemented and the result application is not systematic.Secondly,the reasons for the problems of performance management of private middle school teachers in the X District of Zhongshan mainly include:there's no safety dimension,focusing too much on short-term economic benefits in the design of performance management indicators,relying too much on the experience of managers in the weight design of performance management indicators,and failing to fully recognize the value of the implementation and application of performance management system.Thirdly,to optimize the performance management system of private middle school teachers in the X District of Zhongshan,we need to improve the balanced scorecard,introduce the security dimension,optimize the design of the indicators of each dimension of performance management,reconstruct the weight system of performance management indicators,and improve the implementation and result application system of performance appraisal.This paper's conclusions can directly contribute to the optimization and improvement of the performance management system of the private middle school teachers in the X District of Zhongshan,and can provide indirect ideas and practical reference for other private middle schools to optimize and improve their own teacher performance management system.
