Culture is the crystallization of wisdom created by the people in a region in their daily life.Cultural self-confidence is an effective way to strengthen the cohesion of a nation,an inexhaustible motive force to stimulate the creativity of national culture,a basic advance to build a socialist cultural power,and an important way to realize the prosperity of Chinese culture.Junior high school belongs to the stage of compulsory education,students will go to different posts in the future,become the pillar of various industries in the motherland,so junior high school students' cultural confidence training is the key to improve the cultural confidence of citizens and build a socialist cultural power.On the other hand,at the junior high school,student's think begin transition from concrete image thinking to logical thinking,so junior high school is the first key period to cultivate cultural confidence.The geography subject of junior high school contains rich contents of culture teaching.It is a clear requirement of the geography curriculum standard of compulsory education,an important way to realize "ideological and political theories teaching in all course" and educating people,the need to improve the development of middle school students' physical and mental health,and the need of national construction and development to carry out the cultivation of junior high school students' cultural self-confidence in geography teaching of junior high school students.At present,there are many studies on cultivating students' cultural self-confidence,but most of them focus on the three subjects of Chinese,history and politics at high school or college.Few scholars pay attention to the cultivation of students' cultural self-confidence by geography in junior high school.We use literature research method,classroom observation method,cross analysis method and other research methods to explore the cultivation strategy of junior high school students' cultural self-confidence in junior high school cultural geography teaching.First of all,through the analysis of relevant literature and theory,we further defines the concept of cultural confidence and junior high school students' cultural confidence,and suggested that the formation of junior high school students' cultural self-confidence should go through four processes:cultural self-knowledge,cultural understanding,cultural consciousness and cultural identity.Secondly,on the basis of understanding the connotation of junior high school students' cultural self-confidence,wer combs the contents of cultural teaching in junior high school geography textbooks.Third,through questionnaire and interview analysis to summarize the problems and reasons of junior high school cultural geography teaching.Fourth,the following strategies are put forward in combination with the research results and teaching practice:The teaching of cultural geography in junior high school should pay attention to develope cultural resources of geography textbooks,local cultural resources and other subjecks' cultural resources to broaden students' cultural self-knowledge and enhance students' cultural self-confidence;creating cultural atmosphere by useing language and video to promote students' cultural understanding and enhance students' cultural self-confidence;compare Chinese culture with world culture,different chinese culture to promote students' cultural consciousness and strengthen students' cultural self-confidence;carry out classroom and extracurricular activities to promote students' cultural identity and enhance students' cultural self-confidence.Fifth,We take the "world settlement" as an example,apply the above strategies to the actual classroom teaching,in order to provide a reference for cultivateing students' cultural self-confidence in the coursw of junior high school cultural geography teaching,enrich junior high school geography teaching theory to promote the development of geography subject,and make a new attempt to deepen the theory and application of "ideological and political theories teaching in all course".
