As the new curriculum standard puts forward the geographical core literacy,geographical practice as one of the four core literacy has aroused great attention in the field of basic education.Research and study travel is a new form of education which is gradually rising in China in recent years,and it is also one of the important ways to improve students’ geographical practical ability.However,from the implementation of the national research activities in recent years,the overall quality of research is not good,and the effect of research travel on the improvement of students’ geographical practical ability is very limited.On the basis of reading a large number of domestic and foreign literature,supported by professional theory,previous research experience as a reference,taking Mianyang middle school as the research object,this paper investigates the teachers and students of this school.Through the analysis and processing of the survey data,the main problems existing in the development of the school’s research travel and the cultivation of students’geographical practice ability are concluded.In view of the main problems,this paper puts forward specific research travel design strategies,which include four aspects:research curriculum design,teaching innovation,research teacher construction,and research multiple evaluation.Based on the above strategies,combined with the general situation of research and learning resources in Mianyang City,this paper puts forward the specific case design of research and learning travel in Mianyang City.Finally,this paper summarizes the shortcomings of this research process,and prospects the future research.This paper is divided into six partsThe first part is the introduction,which describes the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad and research program.The second part is the definition of the concept and theoretical basis,expounds the concept of research travel and geographical practice,as well as the theoretical basis of this study.The third part is the investigation and analysis,which investigates and analyzes the current situation of the cultivation of high school students’ geographical practical ability and the development of research and study travel in Mianyang middle school,and draws relevant conclusions.The fourth part is the research travel design strategy,the strategy design mainly aims at the problems after the investigation and analysis.The fifth part is the specific case design of Mianyang research travel based on the previous four parts.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect,summarizes the shortcomings of this study and future prospects.
