Self-recording is an useful way for children to explore, present and reflect on problems in the process of practice through the use of practical experiences and emergent writing skills in daily activities. It is also a kind of way created by children in their environment, creatively using various materials to explain or express their views and experiences. In a brand-new environment for daily activities, when teachers cannot devote more energy to paying attention to children due to complicated teaching and research tasks, and children also lack effective methods or applicable platforms to express and explain their own experiences or discoveries, the application of self-recording in children's daily activities will provide strong support for children to adjust action plans, enhance the capacity for autonomous learning.Additonally,It will also encourage teachers to support children's spontaneous activities in a more purposeful and planned way. This study took the daily activities of the Class S in Kindergarten B as a research place, and the researcher had reached a consensus with three teachers,J,Z and W,which based on the practical difficulties of Class S.Then they adopted the action research paradigm and carried out three rounds of action research. In the initial stage of the use of self-recording,the researcher and teachers found that the content and form of children's records were relatively monotonous and scattered. The main reason was that teachers had intervened too much, and children failed to document their own activities experiences actively. As a result, teachers provided children with abundant recording materials and let children observe and document independently in various activities. This adjustment had promoted the diversification of children's self-recording content. In order to further guide children to form a standardized form of self-recording,teachers had took follow-up guidance measures. At this stage, children's self-recording had become more diversified and standardized in content and form, but the traces of teacher's intervention in the application of self-recording were still relatively obvious. In the improvement stage of self-recording application, the researcher and teachers found that children lacked clear goals and plans in the process of self-recording application, and the documenting method was slightly single. The fundamental reason was that the way of self-recording for children was too abstract, and the carrier of documenting was only paper. As a result, teachers began to guide young children to documenting their learning goals and observations with more intuitive and specific emergent writing, and encouraged young children to positively communicate with their peers. To help young children get rid of the limitations of paper documenting, teachers also gradually guided children to use digital equipment to photograph and record the process of activities. At this stage, teachers provided appropriate blank space for children's self-recording.The children's self-recording was also gradually improved during the exploration. However, the children's self-recording was still at the stage of individual application and lack of cooperation with others. In the deepening stage of the use of self-recording,the researcher and teachers found that children's self-recording were mostly restrained in the form of individual, and the potential space of self-recording had not been fully explored, mainly because children had not realized the importance of cooperation. Therefore, teachers encouraged children with their peers to complete creative documents of group and collective activities by introducing different forms of activities.Young children also gave full play to their creativity, using mature and diverse documenting methods, presenting a wonderful content of activities. At this stage, young children had full self-creation opportunities,self-recording space, and daily activities had become more interesting and colorful. In action research, young children broke through the practical dilemma of daily activities in a series of challenges.Teachers also learned how to support young children's active exploration, negotiation and cooperation in a timely and appropriate way from the perspective of children.Self-recording has also become an important learning way in the daily activities of young children.
