Under the requirements of the new curriculum reform,a new curriculum standard(core literacy in 2017)has been put forward in the history discipline of ordinary high schools.Among them,"feelings of home and country",as the highest-level core accomplishment,is the fundamental end-result of the education of historical values in history curriculum,which reflects the great attention and deep expectation of cultivating and conserving correct historical values carried by history curriculum.Generally speaking,"feelings of home and country" refers to a person's high sense of identity,belonging,responsibility and mission towards his own country,a lasting ideal pursuit for realizing the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people,and a deep love for the future and destiny of his own country and nation,and even the whole mankind.In pushing forward the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,"feelings of home and country" is a powerful spiritual power.By cultivating the concept of "feelings of home and country",it is beneficial to enhance the sense of identity and belonging to the motherland psychologically,strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission in behavior,and strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.At the same time,in order to comprehensively promote Xi Jinping's socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era into teaching materials and students' minds,and cultivate new people of the times who are responsible for national rejuvenation,the Ministry of Education issued the requirements on ideological and political courses.Therefore,in mid-2019,the core content of primary and secondary education is to focus on "ideological and political courses".As a humanities and social discipline,it bears the development of human history,bears witness to the long-standing civilization of the Chinese nation,and also presents the excellent traditional culture of Chinese children,which is particularly important in ideological and political courses.Therefore,for history teaching,the realization of ideological and political courses is closely related to the cultivation of "feelings of home and country".By combining teaching theory with specific teaching practice,this paper focuses on the theme of "how to cultivate feelings of home and country",and summarizes the general methods of cultivating feelings of home and country.For example,in daily history teaching activities,creating historical situations and creating historical atmosphere through videos can better stimulate students' emotional cognition.And in teaching activities,we should also combine history with reality,and guide students to think about contemporary reality in time after studying history,thus generating emotional resonance.Of course,it can't be limited to cultivating students' "feelings of home and country" in history class,but can also go out of history class,for example,to carry out the theme class meeting on history,as a history class teacher,to combine historical elements in the theme class meeting class,so as to establish students' recognition of Chinese history and traditional culture.In addition to these two ways,we can make full use of the unique research study in our school,make full use of Shanxi's rich cultural resources,determine the route and address of research study,and lead students from classroom study to walking into cultural sites,from textbook knowledge to vivid scene reappearance,from historical experience to realistic problems,and guide students step by step to cultivate the concept of "feelings of home and country" in history study.At the same time,when studying these training methods of "feelings of home and country",this paper proves them through specific teaching cases,and observes students' emotional feedback in class,so as to better improve teaching methods and means.At the same time,in the concrete practice,we should communicate feelings with students in time and summarize methods in practical activities.
