In recent years,the inheritance and development of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation has received much attention in China.The ministry of education has compiled and approved a new edition of Chinese textbooks for junior high schools in response to the country's call to increase the proportion of ancient poetry and prose in textbooks.The ancient poetry and prose in textbooks shoulders the responsibility of inheriting Chinese culture and plays an irreplaceable role in developing students' Chinese literacy and guiding them to form correct values.The value orientation of the editors is implied in the selection of ancient poetry and prose into textbooks.Both Taiwan and the mainland are descendants of the Chinese people,and share the same cultural background.There are many similarities in the content selection and arrangement of ancient poetry and prose in Chinese textbooks,but the differences in the value orientation of the editors give rise to their unique features.The comparative exploration of the value orientation of ancient poetry and prose in the Chinese textbooks of junior high schools on both sides of the straits is conducive to the broadening of the research field of vision,the selection of the good and the reform,and the provision of ideas for the improvement of the compilation and teaching of Chinese textbooks in the future.Paper uses literature research,combing the domestic and foreign research trajectory for textbook value orientation and the research status of selected works of ancient text,on both sides of the course of the programmatic document about the textbook compilation of requirements,respectively,using the two representative on both sides of the Taiwan version junior high school Chinese textbook as the research object,construct the textbooks of selected works of ancient text value orientation analysis framework.On this basis,comparative research and analysis are carried out.The research contents mainly include: first,the introduction of the paper mainly expounds the importance of ancient poetry and prose from the national and social levels and the necessity of comparative study of the value orientation of ancient poetry selection in textbooks.Secondly,the author analyzes the compilation basis and arrangement system of Chinese textbooks for junior high schools on both sides of the straits,and formulates the analysis framework of the value orientation of ancient poetry and prose.Thirdly,it analyzes the value orientation of the selected ancient poetry and prose from the form,including the analysis of age,author and style.Fourth,it analyzes the value orientation of the selected ancient poetry and prose from the content,and mainly analyzes the theme types and distribution of the selected poetry and prose.Fifth,based on the above research contents,the research conclusions are drawn,and the countermeasures are considered and discussed.Through comparative study,the paper finds that the value orientation of the selected ancient poetry and prose in the two editions of textbooks is basically in line with the requirements of the program documents of the cross-strait curriculum,but there is still room for the development of the diversity and richness of the value orientation,and there are some similarities and significant differences in the form and content of the two editions of textbooks,The ancient poetry and prose in the Chinese mainland's unified version can carry on Chinese traditional culture well.Based on the above conclusions,Suggestions are put forward for the optimization of the value orientation of the selected ancient poetry and prose in the partial edition: To further enhance the importance of the selection of ancient poetry and prose,to further enrich the types of ancient poetry and prose,to pay close attention to the acceptance of students.
