At the end of the 20 th century,a new round of basic education curriculum reform was set up in the world.In this wave of global curriculum reform,the reform of mother tongue curriculum is the core curriculum that all countries and regions attach importance to.Affected by this,the two sides of taiwan strait are also actively promoting basic education reform.Has experienced 10 years of exploration and development,the curriculum reform has entered a new stage.The two sides of the Taiwan Straits have the same language and cultural heritage,and there are a lot of references in the field of Chinese curriculum reform.The textbooks published by people's education Pressand Taiwan KangxuanCulture and Education Group are the representative textbooks of the two regions.The essays of the two sets of textbooks are compared and analyzed,and the advantages and disadvantages of the selected textbooks are summarized.And it is helpful to promote the further refinement of the selected essays.Through the comparative study of the distribution of the text,the subject of creation and the theme and content of the selected essays,it can be found that Taiwan Kang xuan edition is rich in humane feelings and emphasizes the cultivation of moral literacy.And focus on children's perspective and "civilians perspective",material close to the student life.However,Kang xuan version of the text is given priority to with Taiwanese writer works,there is a strong geographical limitations.The textbook published by people's education Press maintain the traditional advantages of rich content selection,pay attention to the times and the model.But the content of the text is not close enough with the students.There is not enough attention to the writings of ethnic minority writers,there is gender discrimination phenomenon and obvious utilitarian value orientation and so on.Based on these differences,we should use the experience of Kang xuan Edition to improve the selected essays of these textbooks from the above aspects.
