With the implementation of the policy of reducing the burden of basic education in China,primary school students' school time is reduced to 6 hours,and the afternoon school time is advanced to 3:30.At present,the family structure is miniaturized and dual-career.Parents are still at work when their children's school is over."Where do the pupils go after school in the afternoon?" This problem has become the "3:30 problem" that the society generally pays attention to in recent years.The "3:30 problem" is not only a problem of education,but also a problem of people's livelihood.The national and local governments have successively issued relevant policies to promote the solution of the "3:30 problem",that is,to carry out after-school service,namely after-school care service.After the policy was released,all provinces and cities responded positively and actively carried out after-school care services.K city began to provide after-school care services in two municipal primary schools as a pilot from April 2017.Subsequently,the pilot project was carried out in the public primary school in W district.Starting from the fall semester of 2019,after-school services will be provided in all primary schools in the main city.By the autumn term of 2020,all primary schools in the city will provide after-class services.Since the launch of after-school hosting service,there is still a lack of empirical data to support its effectiveness,problems and how to better carry out after-school hosting service.This paper takes three typical primary schools in K city(A,B and C)as the research object for field research,and mainly USES the research methods of questionnaire,interview and observation to investigate the implementation status of after-school care service in these three primary schools.Questionnaires were sent to 262 parents of students in three primary schools to find out how satisfied parents were with after-school services and how students learned in after-school care services.Some parents and teachers were interviewed to have a more comprehensive understanding of the implementation status of after-school care service.I taught in C Primary school,participated in after-school care work personally,and observed the implementation of after-school care work in the most natural state.Through the above research methods,we comprehensively understand the implementation status of after-school hosting service.The results show that there is a great demand for after-school care in primary school students.Each primary school has carried out a variety of after-school activities;Teachers are more willing to participate in after-school care work.The satisfaction degree of parents to after-school service is above 90%.The situation of after-school service in different primary schools is different.After-school service alleviates to some extent the problem of parents picking up their children on time.In addition,from the survey found some problems: school safety management burden increased,responsibility risk increased;Lack of guarantee of after-school service conditions;The source of teachers for after-school service is single;After-class service fund source is single,private schools need to raise funds by themselves.In view of the existing problems of after-school care service,the following Suggestions are put forward: strengthening school safety management and establishing after-school service insurance system;Innovate the form of after-school hosting service;Excavate the high quality teachers from outside the school and build the teachers team from inside and outside the school;Expand funding channels to ensure the benign development of campus trusteeship.This study USES empirical methods to deeply discuss the implementation status of after-school hosting services in K City,which is not only a test and response to the effect of after-school hosting services,but also an effective supplement to the improvement of after-school hosting services.The research findings and targeted Suggestions put forward by the institute can not only promote the optimal management of after-school care for pupils and improve the quality of after-school care services,but also promote the development of after-school care services and provide reference for the policy optimization of after-school care services in China.
