With the full implementation of the new curriculum reform,core competence has received widespread attention.The 2017 version of the curriculum standards requires that front-line biology teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' core competence in daily teaching.At the same time,the gap between junior and senior high school biology courses and the differences between junior and senior high school biology teaching methods and learning methods make the connection of junior and senior high school biology teaching particularly important in the senior high school stage.Therefore,this article aims to develop the core competence of students,and conducts research and practice on the connection between junior and senior high school biology teaching in the course of high school biology teaching,so that students can better adapt to the learning of high school biology and promote the development of their core competence.First of all,this article gives a description of the research background,the coherent teaching between junior and senior high school biology and the current status of core competence research.Then through the questionnaire survey and analysis of the biology learning situation of junior and senior high school students and the coherent teaching of senior high school biology teachers It is discovered that students found that high school biology knowledge was difficult to understand,that they were too sressful and the majority of senior biology teachers have realized the problem of biological connection;on the other hand,most teachers have an understanding of core competence.However,due to the lack of class hours and large class capacity,the development of students' core competence has not been well implemented in daily teaching.Then this article uses the latest junior high school biology curriculum standards and junior high school biology textbooks as materials,starting from the general concept of high school biology "molecules and cells" module to analyze the coherence of the textbooks.On this basis,the author formulate a feasible high school biology teaching connection strategy:creating real situations,cleverly setting up question strings,attaching importance to the establishment of a conceptual system,and conducting experimental exploration;and then the author conducts the teaching case analysis.Finally,the teaching experiment method is used to test the practical effect of the teaching connection strategy,and the core competence situation test questions of the biology subject are formulated to test the teaching effects.The resultsshow that the teaching of junior and high school biological connection in the high school stage is conducive to improving students' academic performance and students' development of core competence in the subject,students' learning habits and interest in learning have increased and after the teaching experiment.This article aims to provide reference teaching strategies and methods for front-line teachers,especially new teachers,and promote the development of students' core competence.
