| Math connects closely with our daily life.Using mathematical knowledge,Apply mathematical knowledge and mathematical knowledge from other disciplines to everyday life embodies the applicability of math.Mathematical modeling is an effective means for cultivating students’ mathematical application quality.<The General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017)set> mathematical modeling as one of the six core qualities in high school mathematics,which plays an increasingly important role in mathematics classes.Therefore,it is essential to study the current situation,application value,difficulties and solution strategies of mathematical modeling ideas in high school mathematics teaching for the current secondary school mathematics classroom.In the research of this paper,the literature method,interview method,questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method are mainly used.First,uderstand the research status of mathematical modeling teaching at home and abroad by literature method,then we conduct one-on-one interviews with front-line teachers to find out the problems and obstacles of mathematical modeling teaching at present and to understand their feelings about mathematical modeling teaching,then,we conduct a questionnaire survey research from students’ perspectives to investigate students’ current knowledge,learning status and doubts about mathematical modeling teaching.Based on the survey results,the following conclusions were drawn: the value of mathematical modeling ideas to the learning of mathematical knowledge in high school is worthy of our affirmation,and it has a positive contribution to the development and cultivation of secondary school students’ core literacy in mathematics,The main performance aspects are as follows:(1)it connects mathematical knowledge with the practical life,making mathematical knowledge come from life and serve life;(2)it can effectively cultivate and improve students’ knowledge and ability to convert a practical problem into a mathematical problem;(3)it can fully mobilize students’ enthusiasm in learning mathematical knowledge,which is also conducive to the formation of students’ sense of innovation while learning new knowledge;(4)it can stimulate students’ interest in learning and cultivate their spirit of cooperation.Based on the above conclusions,from the theoretical aspect to a certain extent,it enriches the theoretical research related to the teaching mode of high school mathematics under the background of the new college entrance examination and also facilitates teachers’ further understanding of mathematical modeling teaching,and provides specific theoretical support and inspiration for China’s teaching reform about high school mathematics.In terms of practice,some of the problems teachers may have in practicing mathematical modeling in high school are clarified.Understanding the vital value of mathematical modeling ideas for answering problems in life from real-life situations is beneficial for teachers to guide students for better learning in the education classroom. |
