Tracing back to its source,close reading of texts comes from the Western New Criticism,and Chinese experts and scholars have found its value.After continuous development,close reading of texts has been well used in Chinese language classes.The "text close reading method" discussed in this paper is a reading method that takes text as the center,takes speech analysis as the key point,devotes to the meaning of words,takes students as the main body,and improves students' Chinese ability comprehensively.The introduction part elaborates the background,significance,current situation,content and method of the research.The main body includes three chapters.The first chapter defines the text close reading method and its characteristics in combination with the goals and requirements of high school novel teaching in the new curriculum standard,and discusses the important role of text close reading in the improvement of high school students' language application ability,thinking ability and aesthetic ability.The second chapter investigates the application status of text close reading method in high school novel teaching,including its effectiveness and problems.This paper mainly reflects on the problems in the application of the text close reading method in teaching,such as the lack of theoretical knowledge of the text close reading,less time to study the text,too much reliance on teaching reference,and not familiar with the close reading method,and probes into the reasons for the problems.In the third chapter,in view of the problems in the investigation,the author puts forward the principles that should be followed in the application of the text close reading method,that is,paying attention to the level of close reading,pertinence and expansion,reading out "new ideas" but not deliberately,and "guiding and describing in detail".On this basis,from different dimensions to explore the specific path of text close reading applied to teaching practice: "to taste the charm of novel language";"Analyzing narrative logic" to improve thinking ability;"Read the characters in detail" to explore the methods of image building;In the return to the text and the overall construction of deep understanding of the novel.The conclusion part further summarizes the topic in order to realize the practical significance and value of the text close reading to enrich the Chinese core literacy of senior high school students.
