Close reading of text is a critical method put forward by the new western criticism,which takes the text as the center to analyze the text,pays attention to the semantic analysis,and pays attention to the role of rhetoric.The relation between close reading and reading teaching is that close reading is not only a literary criticism method but also a reading method,which can be used in reading teaching.Applying close reading to the teaching of reading can balance the problem of too much macroscopic generalization and lack of microscopic analysis in text analysis.Since the western theory of close reading was introduced into China,Chinese scholars improved it according to the Chinese context and formed the Chinese "close reading".With the development of text reading,people gradually apply the method of text reading to teaching,forming the teaching of "text reading",that is,text reading in the context of the curriculum.At present,in the process of using close reading of text,there is a phenomenon of using close reading of text to read at will,which leads to the "abuse" of this method and too much invalid text reading.Therefore,it is necessary to explain the origin,concept and application of close reading.At present,non-chinese,non-literature,typology and stylization appear in the teaching of novel reading.The phenomenon of non-language appears in the reading of novels from the Angle of sociology.The use of critical thinking in reading novels is a non-literary phenomenon.From the fixed patterns of characters,plots,environments and themes,typification emerges.According to the procedure of the background of The Times,the introduction of the writer,the analysis of the characters and plots,and the generalization of the theme,the teaching process has become a procedural phenomenon.At present,it is necessary to improve the way of reading novels,break the traditional teaching mode and update the teaching concept.Most of the reading teaching is done by teachers,and students' participation and experience are not high.The Chinese curriculum standards of general high school(2017 edition)puts forward the core quality of the subject,and also puts forward specific requirements for students' reading.On the basis of investigating the teaching status of novel reading and consulting relevant literature,this study constructs a close reading of the text in the context of the course according to the stylistic characteristics of the novel on the basis of curriculum standards and students' learning situation.The aim is to provide a reading method,but also to choose more appropriate teaching content.Improve students' reading interest,deepen students' reading experience and improve their Chinese quality.
