The Application Of Thematic Teaching Mode In High School Geography Classroom Teaching

At present,in order to adapt to the changing global economic development situation,China puts forward the strategy of strengthening the country with talents.In view of this situation,the concept of education in our country is gradually changing,talent training in the top priority began to develop.For the reform of teaching curriculum,we hope that it can be realized.Considering the feelings of all students,every student can get the best learning experience.For the previous teaching mode,there is no way to take care of all students,so that we can get a comprehensive study,and now the geography teacher teaching knowledge using the thematic teaching mode,can take care of all students more comprehensively.In the thematic teaching mode,we can find that each student's subjective initiative in the classroom is greatly improved,and they can learn to think independently.Therefore,teachers think that this new teaching mode can be selected in geography classroom,which is not only helpful for students' learning,but also more suitable for the new curriculum after the reform.The thematic teaching method can make students better understand the subject of geography,can establish a better way of thinking about geography and the understanding ability of geography will be greatly improved.In the subsequent implementation of this new model,we can obtain data through questionnaire survey for students.Through the data,we can see whether there is any need to improve the content of the new theme based teaching theory in practice.Through questionnaire survey,communication and observation of students' real reaction,this paper studies the teachers and students of Chengdu No.7 middle school,Chengdu No.8 middle school,Chengdu Shude senior high school,Chengdu Tiezhong middle school,the Affiliated Middle School of Southwest Jiaotong University.Mainly through three kinds of humanism,constructivism and theory of multiple intelligences.Since September 2020,a total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to students,of which447 were available,with an effective rate of 89.4%;40 were given to teachers,of which 35 were valid,with an effective rate of 87.5%.To sum up,together with the useful information we have observed on the spot,we find that there are four disadvantages in carrying out thematic teaching mode in geography classroom in reality:(1)Students' understanding of thematic teaching is not deep enough;(2)Teachers' guidance and participation in thematic teaching are not in place;(3)Students' self-management ability is weak in classroom theme teaching.For the above three problems,we find out the corresponding reasons:(1)Students are in a passive position in classroom teaching;(2)Teachers get less information about the update and reform of teaching mode;(3)The management ability of students for self-study is insufficient.According to the survey,we hope to comprehensively promote the teaching mode of thematic education in high school geography classroom.We need personnel who have a reasonable understanding of the theoretical basis of this teaching mode to assist teachers.We should also pay attention to the feelings of students for the new teaching mode.For those students who are unable to adapt,we should timely communicate with each other to avoid delaying their studies.In the classroom,teachers reduce their own teaching time,more let students speak,express their views,improve the activity of everyone in the classroom.In order to build a more efficient,orderly,more high-quality teaching environment,as well as to investigate and understand the current high school geography classroom teaching mode,the theme based teaching mode needs to be implemented,for the above difficulties,this paper also comes up with the corresponding measures to deal with,mainly as follows:(1)Cultivating students' adaptability to theme teaching;(2)Defining the role of Teachers;(3)The teaching management attaches importance to the application of thematic teaching.(4)Training students' self-management ability.The novelty of this article:(1)the teaching mode of high school geography classroom is single,and the teaching method of high school is added in the investigation;(2)entering the classroom of senior high school students,more accurate observation and understanding of the psychological dynamics of students and teachers,understanding of some disadvantages of the theme teaching mode in practical application,as well as the reasons for these disadvantages,after summing up,come up with Solutions.Although this study only selected high school geography as a subject,I hope it can help to carry out the reform of teaching mode,through the investigation found in the teaching problems,the local education department can also be used as a reference.
