Geography is a subject that studies the relationship between man and earth,which is closely related to our life.With the promotion of a new round of curriculum reform,all disciplines have revised the original curriculum standards,and condensed the core quality of the discipline based on the essence of the discipline.Human-earth coordination is at the core of the core literacy of geography.Therefore,the cultivation of the literacy of human-earth coordination has also become a key issue in geography education and teaching.The cultivation of human-earth coordination can effectively help students analyze and solve the current complex human-earth relationship problems,and the cultivation of human-earth coordination is largely realized in the geography teaching process of teacher-student interaction.Therefore,it is an urgent task to apply effective teaching methods to cultivate students' human-earth coordination.Thematic teaching is a focus on quality of inner spiritual cultivation method of teaching,for students to the cultivation of the concept of coordination has certain advantages.On the basis of consulting the related literature and materials of human-earth coordination and thematic teaching,combined with high school textbooks,this article studies the general characteristics and effectiveness of the high school geography thematic classroom and carries out the case teaching practice by adopting these methods including literature analysis,investigation,case analysis and interview method.Firstly,literature analysis is used to sort out the research background of human-earth coordination and theme-based teaching,as well as the research status at home and abroad,and clarify the definition of relevant concepts and related theoretical basis.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and statistical analysis method,the present situation of cultivation of human-land coordination concept in high school geography is investigated.Using literature analysis method again,put forward the general characteristics and effective strategy of the thematic teaching of geography in high school as a basis to design electromagnetic wave travel day——atmospheric heating process,front and weather situation——front and weather,the formation of the revelation of the mountain——Formation of mountains,three thematic teaching cases.Finally,the results of educational practice are analyzed through the methods of student interviews,pre-test and post-test score comparison,and teacher evaluation.In this paper,through the chart analysis was carried out on the basis of original data and applying SPSSAU on the reliability,validity,and the results of the chi-square study found:(1)Both teachers and students don't have a better understanding of human-earth coordination;Furthermore,teachers lack of effective implementation and are faced with pressure from schools and society in this process although they realize the importance of human-earth coordination.It is necessary for teachers of different teaching ages,titles and grades to strengthen the training of teachers.(2)Students are very interested in the concept of human earth coordination,but they have few ways to acquire relevant knowledge,and their mastery of it is not high;It is of great significance for students of different grades to enhance their interest and cultivate their concept of resources.In view of the above problems,this paper draws the following conclusions based on relevant theoretical basis and through the application of teaching practice:(1)The study found that the effect of using thematic teaching model in some middle schools in Guizhou Province is better than traditional teaching.The theme-based teaching model plays a certain role in improving high school geography classroom teaching,inspiring students' interest in learning,promoting teacher-student interaction and mutual evaluation,and cultivating students' view of harmony between humans and earth.At the same time,it can also improve teachers' quality and accomplishments in all aspects to achieve teaching.(2)Thematic teaching has the general characteristics of taking the theme as the core,students as the main body,taking cooperative inquiry as the approach,and integrating comprehensive,regional,and practical characteristics.(3)The effective strategy of subject-based teaching can be implemented in five aspects: following the concept of geography curriculum,establishing a material library,relying on rural geography,choosing a reasonable subject,and clarifying teaching objectives.
