In the stage of compulsory education, students have a fear of mathematics, and there are different degrees of difficulties in learning this subject. In fact, these difficulties are caused by the lack of good mathematics learning habits of contemporary students in the final analysis.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standards,in the stage of compulsory education, teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' mathematical literacy. The improvement of students' mathematical literacy will be of great help to master the corresponding mathematical concepts, methods, ideas and experience ability.Good mathematics learning habits play a great role in improving mathematics literacy. At the same time, mathematics learning habits also affect students' mathematics performance. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the strategies of cultivating students' good mathematics learning habits according to the current situation of rural junior high school students' mathematics learning habits. In this paper, the author's school freshman students do a survey on the status quo of mathematics learning habits, find out the existing problems for detailed research.Firstly,it summarizes the cultivation of students' mathematics learning habits, then describes the background and significance of the research, and makes a literature review on the relevant definitions of mathematics learning habits by scholars at home and abroad.Combined with the domestic and foreign literature, the study has chosen four dimensions of learning habits: pre class preview habits, classroom listening habits, homework habits after class and summary and reflection habits. The questionnaire method is used to study the first students' mathematics learning habits in rural areas. After obtaining the data, the data is processed and analyzed by Excel and spss26.0 software. The survey results are analyzed and studied from four dimensions of mathematics learning habits. The results show that the overall mathematics learning habits of the first students in rural areas need to be improved,The study habits of the first grade girls are better than boys in pre-school,classroom listening and homework after class, and there is no significant difference between boys and girls in the dimension of summary and reflection. The students with good academic achievement have better learning habits than those with relatively backward academic achievements.According to the survey results and the actual teaching situation, suggestions are given from four aspects: preview before class, listening in class, homework after class and summarizing and reflecting ability. In the preview aspect,we should have a correct attitude.Teachers should make students clear the preview methods and tasks, and check them in time to ensure that students adhere to the preview. In mathematics classroom teaching, teachers should pay attention to whether the design of teaching process can attract students, enhance the enthusiasm of students to participate in the classroom, attract students' attention through a variety of teaching methods and means, and cultivate students' interest in learning mathematics. In the aspect of mathematics homework, teachers should teach students how to examine the questions carefully and ask students to solve the problems strictly. To cultivate students' habit of reflecting and correcting wrong problems, and to cultivate students' diversified thinking of solving problems. We should cultivate students to form the habit of timely review and self reflection, guide students to question questions, and sum up mathematical knowledge with students.
