This paper is based on Taking the technical characteristics of women 800 meter freestyle swimmers in 2013-2019 National Swimming Championship(including the two national games)as the research object,this paper collects data through the method of literature,takes the technical video taken on the spot by video shooting method,analyzes the technical indexes of the swimmers by image analysis method,and obtains the swimming speed,stroke frequency,stroke range,speed index and speed reserve of the swimmers Index and other technical indicators,and then use mathematical statistics to analyze the technical characteristics of athletes,using statistics and spss22 software to analyze the relationship between athletes' performance,get the technical characteristics of athletes,and further analyze the advantages and disadvantages of our country in this event,so as to provide theoretical basis for coaches to arrange training reasonably.The conclusions and suggestions are as follows:(1)The technical indexes of women's 800 m freestyle are divided into starting stage index,en route swimming stage index,turning stage index and sprint stage index.The correlation analysis between the athletes' total performance and the technical indexes of each stage shows that the turning stage and en route swimming stage have significant correlation with the total performance.It shows that the turning and swimming stages are important indexes to determine the total performance of athletes.W.JJH is able to set the Asian record because she has the absolute advantage in the turning stage.W.JJH is better than l.bj on the way,but the turn is not as good as l.bj.If l.bj turns well,it is likely to surpass w.jjh.It shows that the results of turning and swimming on the way are important indicators to determine the total performance of athletes.(2)The 800 m freestyle is divided into eight 100 m segments,and the correlation analysis between the results of each segment and the total results shows that there is a correlation between the results of each segment and the total results,especially in the 300m-400 m segment,the 400m-500 m segment,and the 500m-600 m segment.The speed of swimming on the way represents the training level of athletes.In the training,the aerobic ability,lactic acid resistance ability and cardiopulmonary function of athletes should be maintained at a very high level.High quality training level of swimming on the way is the only standard to ensure that athletes can swim faster.Then,the 800 meter freestyle is divided into 16 50 m segments,with the single number of going distance(the 1st,3rd,5th,7th,9th,11 th,13th and 15 th segments)and the even number of return distance(the 2nd,4th,6th,8th,10 th,12th and 14 th segments).Through the correlation analysis between the scores of each segment and the total score,it is found that the scores of athletes in 60-95 m,110-145 m,160-195 m,210-245 m,260-295 m,360-395 m,460-495 m,560-595 m,660-695 m,760-795 m segments are significantly correlated with the total score.This study believes that the speed of every 100 meters on the way back has a greater impact on the overall performance of athletes.(3)Through the statistical analysis of the correlation between the athletes' stroke frequency,stroke range and speed index and their performance,it is concluded that the athletes' stroke frequency,speed index and the total performance are significantly correlated,and negatively correlated with the total performance,while the stroke range has no significant correlation with the total performance.The results of this study show that the appropriate increase of stroke frequency is helpful to improve sports performance under the condition of the same stroke amplitude.In other words,in order to win the championship,athletes should first have their own technical characteristics,and then be able to make good use of the combination of stroke frequency and stroke range to obtain a higher speed index,so as to achieve the purpose of creating excellent sports performance.(4)Through the correlation analysis between the athletes' turn performance and the total performance,it is concluded that the athletes' performance in the first,third,fifth,ninth,eleventh,twelfth,thirteenth and fourteenth stages has significant correlation with the total performance.The first,the third,the fifth,the eleventh and the thirteenth segments turn around and then the second(60-95m),the fourth(160-195m),the sixth(260-295m),the twelfth(560-595m)and the fourteenth(660-695m)midstream segments.It shows that the quality of the turning technique directly affects the results of the return journey connected with it after turning.Only when the turning technique is good can it help to improve the speed of the journey.Turning is a habit.If one turn is good,other turns can turn well.Therefore,more attention should be paid to the training of turning technique in long-distance events.(5)W.JJH is able to set the Asian record because she has the absolute advantage in the turning stage.50.BJ has an advantage in midstream,but not in turn stage.If l.bj has a good turn stage,it is likely to surpass w.jjh.It can be seen that turning and en route swimming play a very important role in the800 m freestyle.
