The Outline of National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)promulgated by the Ministry of Education puts forward: a century-long plan,education-oriented,education-oriented,teacher-oriented,to improve the quality of teachers,and strive to create a high-quality professional teacher team with noble morality,exquisite work,reasonable structure and full of vitality.To meet the above requirements,teachers must strive to improve their professional quality and continuously improve the teaching quality.With the increasing dominant position of teachers in educational reform,"heteronomy" management can hardly meet the needs of sustainable development of this group,and the concept of teachers' independent development is gradually recognized by the education sector.Based on the theoretical basis of studying teachers' self-development,this paper takes junior high school teachers in G District of N City as an example,and makes an in-depth investigation,analysis and research on the problems existing in their self-development,aiming at seeking effective countermeasures and suggestions to promote their self-development.Based on "Professional Standards for Middle School Teachers(Trial)",this paper designs a questionnaire from three dimensions: professional concept and ethics,professional knowledge and professional ability,and distributes,recycles,counts and analyzes the survey results,systematically combing the current situation of development awareness,career planning,teaching ability,self-awareness,teaching and research level and self-study ability of junior high school teachers in G District of N City.After a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the survey results,we find out that there are six major problems in the research object: lack of willingness for professional development,unclear career planning,teaching skills to be improved,incomplete self-awareness,lack of teaching and research ability,and difficulty in adhering to autonomous learning.Corresponding to the above six problems,combined with the interviews,six reasons were found out,namely,the decline of enterprising spirit,the lack of the atmosphere of independent development,the lack of practicality of teaching skills training,the unscientific teaching evaluation and reflection system,the lack of time and energy investment in teaching and research,and the lack of initiative in autonomous learning.In view of the above problems and reasons,this paper puts forward some countermeasures from the perspectives of teachers themselves and school management.In the self-construction of teachers,teachers should awaken self-discipline,enhance self-awareness,actively carry out teaching and research,strengthen self-study and make practical career planning.In the external environment,such as school management,the management set up the concept of people-oriented management,implemented the reform of teachers' "management clothes",and built a supportive system for the independent development of teachers' professional quality.Finally,the research results of this paper are summarized comprehensively,and the further research directions are put forward.
