Purpose: The teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers in junior high schools(hereinafter referred to as junior high schools)is an important ability and belief to help teachers improve students' performance in physical education activities and cultivate students' interest in learning.Improving the teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers is one of the important means to achieve effective teaching of physical education courses,and at the same time can promote the development of students' core qualities of physical education.In recent years,few scholars have conducted empirical investigations on the teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers.Therefore,this study investigated the teaching effectiveness of junior high school physical education teachers in Shanghai,and analyzed relevant factors of physical education teachers' teaching effectiveness in order to discover the characteristics of the development of teaching effectiveness.To help physical education teachers improve the quality of teaching,and to provide a reference for the promotion of the development of teaching effectiveness of junior high school physical education teachers.Method: This article takes Shanghai junior high school physical education teachers' teaching effectiveness as the research object,and selects some junior high school physical education teachers as the survey object.Use the literature method to sort out the development process of the concept of teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers and the empirical research cases of domestic and foreign scholars;use the questionnaire survey method to compile the teaching effectiveness evaluation questionnaire and submit it to experts in the school physical education field for evaluation.The questionnaire was distributed online to 22 junior high school physical education teachers(male,64%)to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.A total of 235 in-service junior high school physical education teachers(male,56%)from 7 districts in Shanghai were selected using convenient sampling methods to issue online electronic questionnaires,and to conduct preliminary screening and sorting of data based on relevant literature data.Use SPSS 24.0 to describe the results as a whole,understand the basic information of the sample,use Spearman to analyze the correlation between the various dimensions of teaching effectiveness and teaching performance,teaching effect and attribution;use the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to test the normality of the data,because the data does not conform to the normal distribution,the MannWhitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance were used to compare the differences in teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers among different genders,ages,teaching years and educational backgrounds,and p <0.05 as the standard to judge whether It is statistically significant.Results:(1)The average score of Shanghai junior high school physical education teachers' teaching effectiveness is 4.28(total score of 5);(2)The average scores of physical education teachers' teaching performance,teaching effect and attribution are4.01,4.50 and 4.11,which are positively correlated with the level of teaching effectiveness(p < 0.01);(3)The average score of male physical education teachers' teaching effectiveness is 4.35,and the average score of female physical education teachers' teaching effectiveness is 4.23;(4)21-30 years old,31-40 years old,41-50 years old,and over 50 years old The average teaching effectiveness scores of physical education teachers are 4.25,4.36,4.29 and 4.28,respectively.The difference in the average teaching effectiveness scores between different age groups is not significant(p= 0.562);(5)less than 5 years of experience,6-10 years The average scores of teaching effectiveness of junior high school physical education teachers from 11 to 15 years,16 to 20 years,and more than 20 years are 4.31,4.33,4.33,4.27,and 4.30,respectively.The difference in the average teaching effectiveness scores between different teaching ages is not significant(p = 0.889)(6)The average scores of teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers with college degree and below,undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are 4.38,4.31 and 4.17.Among them,physical education teachers with a bachelor's degree and physical education teachers with a postgraduate degree have a difference in the cognitive dimension of teaching The difference in the average level of teaching effectiveness is significant(p <0.05).Conclusion:(1)From an overall perspective,the teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers in junior high schools in Shanghai is relatively high;(2)The teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers is positively correlated with teaching effects,teaching performance,and the mean value of attribution scores;(3)Teaching of physical education teachers At the overall level of effectiveness and the two dimensions of subordinate teaching expectations and teaching ability,male physical education teachers' teaching effectiveness level is higher than that of female physical education teachers;(4)Physical education teachers with a bachelor's degree have higher levels of teaching effectiveness in the cognitive dimension of teaching Teachers with postgraduate qualifications;(5)There is no relationship between the age and teaching age difference of junior high school physical education teachers and their teaching effectiveness.
