Based on the development requirements of Chinese key competencies,the teaching of "Critical Reading and Expression" should introduce the theory of deep learning,which is not only in line with the requirements of cultivating new talents in international education,but also the process to answer the question of "who to cultivate and how to cultivate people".As one of the basic task groups in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition),"Critical Reading and Expression" provides teaching guidance and teaching content for the cultivation of critical talents.In the practice of critical teaching,there are problems such as shallow text interpretation,unclear text selection standards,and inaccurate course nature positioning.In view of this,this article uses deep learning theory as a guide to improve teaching strategies,and carry out teaching design and reflection.It promotes students' in-depth reading and logical expression,improves their thinking ability,and cultivates a rational spirit.This paper clarifies the core concepts such as "Deep Learning" and "Critical Reading and Expression",and analyzes the appropriateness of deep learning theory to the research content.This analysis focuses on the internal characteristics of deep learning and "Critical Reading and Expression",effective guidance and the relationship between "Deep Learning" and "Key Competencies",and then draws a conclusion that deep learning theory plays a guiding role in the teaching research of "Critical Reading and Expression".This guidance is generally inseparable from the teaching practice,therefore,based on the same critical text in old and new teaching materials,the author investigated present situation of critical teaching existing in the local high school Chinese,analysised the result combined with the "Critical Reading and Expression" teaching research literature,and draw a series of conclusions such as lack of deep learning awareness,shallow critical text teaching,lack of speculative expression of interest,lack of classroom teaching activities,lack of awareness and ability of questioning,the outdated teaching model,the unclear nature of the speculative course,the confused standard of paper selection,the teachers' low critical teaching quality,the education idea needing to be reformed and so on."Critical Reading and Expression" must communicate with the text of the textbook.This paper analyzes the content of "Critical Reading and Expression" in the compulsory and elective Chinese textbooks of senior high schools in detail,and puts forward teaching strategies according to the theory of deep learning.These strategies focus on mastering the teaching direction,make clear the learning objectives,rely on the content of the teaching material,choose the text reasonably,break through the shackles of tradition,reform the teaching method,improve the evaluation system,design the multi-dimensional scale,change the educational concept and cultivate the feelings of education.Focusing on these strategies,the author designed two teaching topics: "Reading:Understanding " Responsibility and Accountability " from " Verification and Falsification " " and "Expression: Rebuttal with writing and debate ",and carried out practice and reflection on them.From the teaching effect,it conformed the important role of deep learning in the critical teaching.
