Project-based learning as the 21 st century to cultivate students core ability and core skills of a kind of teaching mode,it conforms to the trend of The Times and the core idea and the highest purpose of the new curriculum reform.it can help the student to carry on the integration and application of knowledge,the development and improvement of skills,cultivate and sublimation of emotion,it can also teach students to learn,learn to do things,learn to live and learn to study,finally promote the lifelong development of students.As the head of the 18 learning task groups,"whole book reading and discussion" is also an important part of the Chinese course content.By carrying out the whole book reading,students are gradually trained to read consciously,independently,thoughtfully and creatively.Finally,students will become expected readers and lifelong readers,improve students' reading ability,enhance students' Chinese literacy and promote their all-round development.It is of positive significance to introduce project-based learning into the whole book reading.First,it can provide a new practical implementation path for the whole book reading in high school;second,it applies the theoretical knowledge of project-based learning into the teaching practice of reading the whole book;third,it can provide a new teaching idea for teachers to carry out the whole book reading,so as to ensure the high quality of the whole book reading teaching.Project-based learning is for a period of time between teachers and students in the real world is complex and challenging problems in the process of continuous exploration and practice,in this process,through specific learning goals,choose learning content,create problem situations,design learning activity,show the learning outcomes and assessment,and learn to participate in the project through each other between the students and teachers to discuss,cooperation,exchange and learning,solve the common problems or tasks,the final rendering quality learning outcomes.The whole book of The Analects of Confucius is designed based on project-based learning.The teaching is carried out from seven aspects,namely,the determination of objectives,the selection of content,the planning of schemes,the creation of problems,the design of activities,the sharing of achievements and the expansion of evaluation,so as to promote the better application of project-based learning in the reading of the whole book.This study conducted a questionnaire survey on the implementation status of project-based learning in the whole book reading in high school with teachers and students as two main subjects,supplemented by in-depth interviews with teachers.The survey found that project-based learning has the following problems in reading the whole book in high school: the teaching purpose of reading the whole book is clear,but the implementation effect is not ideal;There is a good application foundation,but there is no in-depth research;There is a clear implementation process,but no guidance on how to do it;There are good teaching results,but there are practical difficulties.Based on the status of the investigation,this research believes that the reasons for these problems are as follows: the professional quality of teachers is not in place,and the lack of experience in application guidance;Utilitarian reading,focusing only on results;Guided traction of baton in college entrance examination.Based on the analysis of the current situation,this research puts forward the application strategy of the project-based learning method in the reading of the whole book in high school: the project preparation stage mainly includes clear learning objectives and carry out project learning;Select characteristic content,extract project theme.The implementation phase of the project mainly includes planning the implementation plan and promoting the project process;Establish the problem hierarchy and define the project tasks;Design learning activities to motivate project participants.The final stage of the project mainly includes sharing the learning results and displaying the project works;Carry out learning evaluation and test the effect of items.
