Under the background of teaching reform,although physical education teaching methods have been reformed and innovated,the traditional teaching methods are still the majority in primary school track and field teaching.It ignores the individual differences of students in teaching and gradually exposes the drawbacks that can no longer meet the needs of contemporary students' physical and mental development.In the study of physical education teaching methods,the author found that the model of children's interesting track and field teaching is more in line with the current physical education teaching reform,so the children's interesting track and field teaching is introduced into this research teaching.In order to explore whether children's interesting track and field teaching can play a role in physical education and related problems encountered in the process of experiment.Through 12 weeks of experimental teaching,the second grade students of International Primary School in Kunshan Development Zone were taken as the experimental objects.The effects of children's interesting track and field teaching and traditional track and field teaching on the students' physical education learning effect during the experiment are compared and analyzed,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In the aspect of physical form,children's interesting track and field teaching has little effect on the change of students' body shape in the short term.(2)In terms of physical fitness,compared with traditional track and field teaching,children's interesting track and field teaching has obvious advantages in improving students' physical fitness.(3)After the experiment,the students in the experimental class were better than those in the control class.At the same time,in the practical experiment process of applying children's interesting track and field teaching,the author also found the problem of short experiment period and low student participation.Based on this,we makes the following targeted recommendations:(1)When teachers use children's interesting track and field teaching to carry on the teaching,extend the teaching hours appropriately to ensure the effect of the experiment.(2)Students should be actively encouraged to participate in the innovative aspects of the curriculum and give full play to their "small masters" consciousness before teaching activities are arranged.(3)The implementation of children's interesting track and field teaching should attach great importance to the spirit of cooperation between teachers and students,guide students to carry out inquiry learning atmosphere through pre-class situation questioning,and increase students' sense of participation in class.(4)To further demonstrate the feasibility of children's interesting track and field teaching in physical education by applying children's interesting track and field teaching to other sports,especially those not covered by previous scholars.
