Improving the quality of teachers of ideological and political courses in middle schools is not only a response to the challenges of the development of ideological and political courses in the new era,but also an inevitable requirement for the construction of high-quality teachers.This article is based on the logic of "what to improve-how to improve the status quo-how to improve",based on Marx's theory of human all-round development,teacher professionalization theory,and General Secretary Xi Jinping's new era ideological and political teacher team construction view,combined with teacher quality structure Existing research results,from the three dimensions of ideological and political quality,professional ability,and teacher ethics,have constructed the specific content of the quality improvement of the"six essentials" of the ideological and political course teachers in the new era,which will provide the next questionnaire design and improvement strategy.Theoretical basis.Through a field survey of ideological and political teachers in 10 middle schools in Yanliang District,46 valid samples of teacher questionnaires and 540 valid samples of student questionnaires were collected,and SPSS21.0 statistical analysis software was used for data analysis.The analysis results show that the overall quality of ideological and political teachers in Yanliang District Middle School is relatively high,and the quality of teachers is particularly outstanding;but there are still some problems that some teachers are not strong in ideological and political quality,teachers'questionnaire and in-depth interviews with teachers found that the training effect of middle school ideological and political course teachers is not good and the evaluation mechanism is not perfect,the school does not pay enough attention to ideological and political courses,and the lack of motivation for self-improvement of ideological and political courses in middle schools is The main cause of the above problems.Finally,while learning from the experience of improving the quality of teachers of ideological and political courses in Yanliang District,at the same time,it puts forward specific strategies for improving the quality of teachers of ideological and political courses in the new era from the three aspects of local government,schools and teachers.With the continuous in-depth research on the quality improvement of ideological and political course teachers in the new era,the formulation of the content standards for the improvement of the quality of the ideological and political courses teachers in the new era will become an important breakthrough in this research.This is also the aspect that the author needs to continue to deepen the research on this topic.
