Along with the unceasing advancement of the construction of the legal system in China,the consciousness of rule of law has become an essential quality for promoting the healthy growth of young people.History education is an ideal breeding ground for students’ emotion of rule of law.Cultivating students’ consciousness of rule of law in history teaching in junior high school is not only a realistic need to build a legal socialist country and promote healthy growth of young people but also an inevitable requirement to implement the principal of cultivating people with virtue and promote the reform of history courses.For instance,history standard,close to students,science integration,take into account the "four dimensions" and so on.As a basic course in the humanities and social sciences,history covers a wealth of knowledge about the rule of law.Education of legal awareness has important theoretical and practical foundations in junior high school history teaching.Hence,history teachers should fully excavate the legal materials in history textbooks,combine the history curriculum and the legal education so as to scientifically and appropriately cultivate students’ consciousness of rule of law in junior high school history teaching.As a result,students can understand,abide by and use the law in the future.In the history teaching of junior high school,teachers are the subjects of education,who they must implement the teaching principles of the legal awareness,introduce the corresponding content that is closely related to the growth of students at the right time,and motivate the students’ awareness imperceptible through well selected teaching design;In the real teaching process,teachers should choose appropriate teaching methods according to the teaching content,infiltrate the legal awareness education through historical literature reading,situation creation,etc.so that students can develop consciousness of rule of law in practical activities;complete the teaching evaluation system of the consciousness of rule of law,provide feedback for teachers to further optimize teaching and accelerate growth in profession.In addition,in view of the current problems in cultivating students’ consciousness of rule of law in history teaching of junior high schools,such as the lack of teachers’ awareness of the rule of law education ability,unreasonable teaching objectives,vague teaching content,unsatisfactory teaching effect and so on.history teachers should pay attention to changing educational concepts with the time and improve their own quality and research ability in legal education;focus on the three-dimensional goal and the requirements of the core literacy of the history discipline,reasonably formulate the education goal of the legal awareness,rule of law awareness;enrich the educational content,make full use of various educational resources;seize the opportunity in a timely manner,and cooperate with schools,families,and society to form a joint force of educating the rule of law,Jointly promote the development of legal awareness education.Cultivating students’ consciousness of rule of law in junior high school history teaching is of great significance for achieving the educational goal of "cultivating people with good virtue" and train high-quality modern citizens.
