As an extension of mathematics classroom in primary school,extracurricular mathematics reading affects the formation of students' mathematical language,logicalization,mathematical preciseness and abstractness,and is also an important way to improve pupils' ability to express themselves in mathematical language.Primary school students can control individual autonomous learning behavior through extracurricular reading of mathematics,and then improve their autonomous learning ability,which has gradually become the consensus of mathematics research circles.From the perspective of mathematics extracurricular reading,this paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of primary school students' mathematics extracurricular reading,and puts forward some strategies to improve pupils' autonomous learning ability.This paper investigated the present situation of mathematics extracurricular reading activities of three representative urban and rural schools through questionnaire,and analyzed the correlation and difference from three aspects of reading attitude,reading strategy and reading demand.In terms of the popularization of mathematics reading in primary school,urban primary school is better than that of township primary school.In terms of reading gender comparison,primary school girls' reading attitude is more proactive and durable.The purpose of reading is obvious,like to carry on the parent-child reading activity with the parents,the primary school boy's reading attitude is relatively passive,the interest point is not exclusive,likes has the dynamic reading content;In terms of family reading environment,parents' educational level,economic income,career differences and so on have a strong correlation with primary school students' extracurricular reading in mathematics,and there are significant differences in extracurricular reading in mathematics among different primary school students in family education.Through the research on the correlation between mathematics extracurricular reading and autonomous learning achievement,it is shown that the autonomous learning ability of primary school students is greatly influenced by their mathematics extracurricular reading achievement and strategy,in order to improve the autonomous learning ability of primary school students.This paper will put forward some main suggestions from the perspective of extracurricular reading in primary school mathematics: overcoming the alienation between extracurricular reading and autonomous learning;It fully embodies the main position of students in mathematics extracurricular reading,stimulates students' motivation of autonomous learning,forms good reading methods,trains good autonomous learning habits,creates a good reading environment and builds an effective autonomous learning platform.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in two aspects: on the one hand,based on the perspective of mathematics extracurricular reading,this paper puts forward the strategies to improve the autonomous learning ability of primary school students,and gives the specific implementation guidance methods from two aspects of parents and teachers;On the other hand,this paper puts forward a individualized strategy to arouse pupils' interest in mathematics extracurricular reading,so as to improve students' autonomous extracurricular reading ability.
