In recent years,owing to the geographical relationship between China and Nepal,the development of Chinese teaching in Nepal has been marching towards a new stage,and that is even more rapider particularly in Nepalese middle and primary schools.While great achievements have been made in Chinese teaching in Nepal,many problems gradually emerge,among which the management of Chinese classes is one of the prominent issues.Taking the Chinese classes of Creative Academy school in Kathmandu in Nepal as an example,this article studies how to improve the Chinese classes management in combination with the situation of Chinese classes by Chinese volunteer teachers who teach in middle and primary schools in Nepal.Through questionnaire survey,this paper finds out the reasons for students' misbehaviors in Chinese class of Nepalese middle and primary school,then,taking these reasons as the starting point,combined with the problems the author found during the teaching period of Creative Academy school in Nepal,the author designs a questionnaire about Chinese classes,and investigates the students of Creative Academy school and Chinese volunteer teachers of other middle and primary school in Nepal.Next,taking reference to contents of class management,the author analysed the data from the said survey in terms of three aspects: class teaching management,class discipline management and class environment management,it is concluded that some issues arose from Chinese class management in middle and primary schools in Nepal.In addition,the writer also found out other problems in Chinese class management by making a comparison between Chinese class and class of other local subjects.Research shows that the reasons of management problems in Chinese class are complex,but students and teachers,as the direct participants of Chinese class,and schools,as the organizers of Chinese class,all directly or indirectly affect the Chinese class management.Therefore,this paper specifically analysed the reasons from three aspects: students,teachers and schools,and from these three aspects,this paper puts forward some suggestions to Chinese volunteer teachers on how to improve the Chinese class management of middle and primary schools in Nepal.
