Due to many years of ingrained test-oriented education model,it is difficult for music teaching to achieve the same level as other cultural subjects.Among them,chorus teaching is difficult to take a place in music teaching due to time and space consuming.This paper is based on my investigations and researchs of the problems in the music chorus teaching in the primary schools in the suburbs of Yunnan.It states the problems and deficiencies in the music teaching of the primary school students in our country,especially the chorus teaching.In music teaching,it is necessary to combine the theory with the psychological state of primary school students to carry out suitable curricula,to explore new modes of music chorus teaching in suburban primary schools,and to delight the students so that students can have a healthy and beautiful childhood.Only in this way can we achieve the goal of all-round education.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part describes the background of chorus education from the origin of chorus education and the development of primary school chorus teaching.The second part combs the origin of the development of children's chorus in China.The third part expounds the value and significance of children's chorus.The fourth part is to investigate the current situation of chorus teaching in Yuanqing campus of Jinshi primary school in Panlong District of Kunming City,and make an in-depth analysis from the aspects of school and teaching conditions.Based on the investigation and practice,the fifth part analyzes the problems existing in the chorus teaching in primary schools in the suburbs of Yunnan,mainly including the following aspects: the current situation of school music teaching is not good,lack of full-time music teachers;the influence of the composition of students on chorus teaching;the teaching form is relatively single,the school-based teaching materials are not implemented and lack of local elements;the selection of chorus works is limited,lack of participation in chorus teaching There are many problems,such as the opportunity of competition,the lack of popularization of staff teaching,the difficulty of chorus reading ability.The sixth part is to put forward the development countermeasures of chorus teaching in primary schools in Yunnan suburbs,including improving the music classroom teaching ecology,strengthening the construction of teaching staff;teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,improving students' music literacy;accelerating the creation of school-based curriculum with characteristics on the basis of national teaching materials;improving the chorus competition mechanism,making chorus return to the essence of music,accelerating the promotion of new chorus works and strengthening the awareness of copyright The implementation of the basic teaching of staff,the organic integration of bispectrum teaching.
