With the global aging trend since the 21st century, the elderly population has increased,as has the disabled group.People with intellectual disabilities need to be given long-term care due to their special disability problems, and due to physical deterioration, they are the first to enter the aging stage compared to other disabled groups.Affected by many aspects such as traditional family concepts, economic conditions, and lack of professional services, family care is a common choice for people with intellectual disabilities, and most of them are taken by their parents as their main caregivers. The combination of aging people with intellectual disabilities and elderly caregivers is facing multiple difficulties. The pressure problem faced by elderly caregivers in rural areas as a disadvantaged group is ignored by the public. These elderly family caregivers have received self-care during their long caring lives.Economic, personal physical and mental, and self-development,etc.especially in the absence of social welfare security,if not properly handled,it will affect the physical and mental health of caregivers and the quality of care, and is not conducive to social stability. This study uses Village A in Changshou District,Chongqing City as the practice site to classify the types of care risks of rural dual-elderly mentally handicapped families, and selects an elderly family carer from a rural dual-elderly mentally handicapped family with mild care risk as the case object, using investigation and research Analyze the status quo of the social support network of elderly family caregivers in dual-elder families by means of law, interview method, and case method, and point out the obstacles to the construction of the social support system for elderly caregivers in rural areas, such as investing funds for elderly caregivers in rural areas Rarely, there are problems such as biases in residents' perception of professional institutions' care. The survey found that elderly caregivers in rural areas face risks of multiple complex factors.Compared with urban elderly caregivers, rural elderly caregivers have a stronger need for spiritual support,a lack of financial resources, and a stronger demand for "respite" services. In the current research on the intervention of family caregivers in social work, there are problems such as lack of pertinence in service intervention, ignorance of regional differences, and overextensive services, which make the pressure of family caregivers not solved thoroughly.Through interviews and individual cases to understand the personal situation of the client and social support network problems, jointly formulate service plans and goals, carry out case intervention services in an all-round way, link relevant resources to assist the client to establish a complete social support network, change false perceptions, and relieve anxiety,To reduce the pressure on family caregivers. The study highlights the importance of providing support services for elderly caregivers in rural areas, and provides services for individual needs from the perspective of family caregivers, further verifying that social work intervention methods can solve the problem of caregiving pressure for elderly caregivers in families with dual-elderly mentally disabled in rural areas The role of social work provides a reference for future social work intervention in the construction of a social support network similar to family caregivers.
