Physics education has always been mostly valued.With the "Zhejiang Province to deepen the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination and enrollment system pilot program" released in September2014,the college entrance examination reform in Zhejiang Province was officially launched.Under the new policy of college entrance examination,the number of physics candidates is decreasing year by year.In the preliminary interview survey,it was found that most students gave up physics because of their difficulties in physics learning.The low selection rate furthermore reflects that this problem has been increasing prominent.Work and energy always occupy an important position in the entire high school stage of physics.It is closely related to the mechanics part and it is the basis for other physics problems.It is also the main content of the college entrance examination in various districts.However,there are still a lot of students fail in the exams because of learning difficulties in physics,especially in the work and energy part.In order to fully understand the causes of learning difficulties,and to find effective strategies to change this status quo,the author has conducted corresponding researches.The research methods used in this article are literature review,interview,examines and questionnaire survey.First of all,use the literature research method to understand the research status of the phenomenon of underachieving students at home and abroad,especially students with learning difficulties in work and energy.Then,through interviews with some of the students and teachers,the author has a preliminary understanding of the difficulties they encounter in learning and teaching of work and energy.Finally,through the preparation of examine papers and questionnaires,taking a high school in Ruian City,Zhejiang Province as an example,the author conducted a survey on the status quo of students in the first grade of senior high school on their difficulties in learning work and energy,and analyzed the causes based on the data.Through the analysis of the errors in the examine papers,investigations and researches,it is found that the factors that lead to difficulties in learning work and energy can be divided into objective factors and subjective factors.The objective factors are as follows:students' inadequate understanding of the concept of energy,weak foundations,and the lack of comprehensive application ability.The subjective factors are as follows: low motivation,inappropriate learning methods and habits.Then,based on zone of proximal development,constructivism,educational motivation,and Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,the author proposes corresponding transformation strategies for the above attributions.Finally,the author applies the transformation strategies in the article to his own teaching process and presents it in the form of teaching cases.
