Classical Chinese teaching is the major part of Chinese teaching reform in high school.Classical Chinese teaching in high school under new curriculum reform highlights the importance of cultivating students' self-study ability.However,classical Chinese teaching in high school is still dominated by traditional lecture,which lacks the cultivation of students' self-study ability.Qian Menglong always opposes the traditional lecture in classical Chinese teaching.The “three main points and four forms” Chinese guided reading method he created aims to teach students to learn by themselves,which has important significance for improving the present situation of classical Chinese teaching in high school and cultivating students' self-study ability.“Three main points”include teachers as the guide,students as the center,and training as the main line.“Four forms” refer to self-reading,teaching-reading,practice and re-reading.No Chinese teaching system is perfect.Any Chinese teaching system is the complex and enormous project,which should not only see its advantages,but also examine its possible limitations.There are some research gaps on the application of Qian's guided reading method to classical Chinese teaching.The existing research focuses on the junior middle school,and most of the teaching strategies they put forward are general,and lacks of applying Qian's guided reading method to high school classical Chinese teaching.According to this,summarizing the possible limitations of Qian's guided reading method and combining Qian's guided reading method with classical Chinese teaching in high school to construct a new classical Chinese teaching model has significance to research.This dissertation investigates students' self-study abilities and methods of learning classical Chinese through questionnaires,and investigates classical Chinese teaching models and methods through teacher interviews in order to summarize the outstanding problems in high school classical Chinese teaching.In view of these problems what high school classical Chinese teaching is dominated by traditional lecture,and the teaching model is old,and the students' self-study ability is poor,draw inspiration from Qian Menglong's guided reading method through various ways to collect and sort out studies.And draw on the core of “three main points” and “four forms” to construct“speaking”,“guiding”,“thinking” and “training” four-step teaching model for the purpose of cultivating high school students' ability of reading classical Chinese texts independently.Among them,“speaking” is the strengthening and feedback means of self-reading.“Guiding” is a teaching-reading method that provides learning ideas.“Thinking” is the fusion of teaching-reading and re-reading,and “training” is the diversified forms of practice.Anyway,“speaking”,“guiding”,“thinking” and “training”four-step teaching model is used as a framework of teaching.Accordingly,it is also necessary to discuss specific strategies for each step through analysing the records of many famous teachers of classical Chinese teaching.The construction and strategies of the four-step teaching model based on Qian's guided reading method is also the core of this dissertation.Innovating teaching model is one of the most important ways of teaching development.“Speaking”,“guiding”,“thinking” and “training” four-step teaching model starts from the problems existing in high school classical Chinese teaching,and supplements the specific steps of Qian Menglong's guided reading method.Every step tries to coordinate the relationship between teacher-guided and student-oriented.It's from the student-oriented “speaking” to the teacher-guided “guiding”,then to the teacher-student cooperation “thinking”,and finally back to the student-oriented“training”.It's a process that from “using” to “teaching” to “learning” and then back to“using”.In this process,students need complete two independent practices.The four-step teaching model is the result of close combination of theory and practice,which focuses on improving the word-by-word teaching model of high school classical Chinese teaching and cultivating students' self-study ability.This dissertation hopes to provide some reference for classical Chinese teaching in high school.
