Family reading is a kind of parent-child reading behavior,which is based on the interaction between parents and children,the number and types of family books and the reading environment atmosphere,and is of great significance to promote the physical and mental development of children.The primary school students are in an important period of physical and mental development,and their various consciousness and behavior should be actively adjusted and improved.At this stage,the cultivation of reading habits,the teaching of reading methods,and the storage of relevant knowledge will have a greater impact on the future development of students.Because of the transition from kindergarten teaching to primary school teaching and from picture books to pure text books,we should pay special attention to the cultivation of reading behavior of primary school students,and shape good reading habits and acquire corresponding reading ability through family reading as soon as possible.According to this,the author takes some students and their parents of grade one,grade two and grade three in four primary schools in Hefei as the research objects,and investigates the family reading situation from three aspects of family reading through questionnaire survey and field interview.The final survey data shows that the promotion and popularization effect of family reading by relevant institutions in Hefei is good,the number and types of books in each family are rich,parents pay more attention to reading guidance methods,and the supervision methods of family reading activities are diverse.But at the same time,according to the statistical analysis of the survey and interview results,there are some problems in the family reading of low-grade primary school students in Hefei,such as children's less choice of reading books,imperfect environment construction of family reading,strong utilitarian reading behavior of third grade primary school students,weak sense of role model of parents in family reading,and monotonous way of parents accompanying children in reading It is boring,the effectiveness of primary school students' family reading practice is low,there are few channels to show the reading ability of junior primary school students,the reading ability of junior primary school students is lack of control standards,the reading ability of junior primary school students is difficult to read independently and in the transitional period,the effectiveness of institutional promotion activities is lower than that of parents' sharing,and the parents' cognition of family reading education is low In this regard,the author puts forward to improve parents' attention to children's right of choice,appeal to parents to improve the family reading environment,highlight the core value of family reading,avoid utilitarian reading,strengthen parents' awareness of role models,actively cultivate their own reading habits,enrich parents' reading ways,make children "immersive" reading,build family school library communication chain,and assist families Reading practice,increase reading activities for junior primary school students,set up reading ability control standards for junior primary school students,teach parents scientific guidance,enhance the interaction of family head group in family reading activities by organizing family team activities and adopting fission propaganda mode,and require teachers to focus on cognitive education of family reading for parents with low education background and so on.
