The quality of junior high school students' interpersonal relationship has an important impact on their social skills,self-awareness,academic performance and mental health.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of junior high school students' interpersonal relationship through questionnaire,and explore the influence of group sandplay technology in improving junior high school students' interpersonal relationship.First of all,questionnaires were sent to junior high school students from grade one to grade three to understand the current situation and characteristics of junior high school students' interpersonal relationship.Then,16 junior high school students from grade one and grade two were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test were used to analyze the intervention effect from the quantitative perspective.After the activity,interviews were used to collect data for qualitative analysis.The statistical results show that there are significant differences in the dimension of grade,the number of students with interpersonal difficulties in grade one is significantly higher than that in grade two(P = 0.01 < 0.05),and the number of students with interpersonal difficulties in grade three is not significantly different from that in grade one and grade two;in the dimension of learning achievement,the number of students with interpersonal difficulties in the excellent group is significantly lower than that in the poor group(P = 0.02 < 0.05)There was no significant difference in the number of students with interpersonal difficulties among the general group,the excellent group and the poor group.After the intervention of group sandplay technology,the difference between the experimental group and the control group was significant(P < 0.05).The conclusion of the experiment is that there are significant differences in the dimensions of grade and academic performance of junior high school students' interpersonal problems,so it is necessary to carry out targeted psychological intervention.Excluding the influence of unrelated factors,group sand table game can effectively alleviate the interpersonal problems of students of all grades,and improve the mental health level of junior middle school students.
