Human life is wonderful,but there are many tragedies caused by suicides or harm to others.Life seems to be no longer valuable.People can not help but ask what kind of education should take on the responsibilities behind these phenomena? So people begin to reflect on the current education,and thus life education comes into people's horizons.However,the course of “Morality and the Rule of Law”,which assumes the main life education position in teaching,has neglected the individual life value and significance for a long time due to its unique discipline characteristics,its emphasis on society over individuals,on theory over practice.The paper regards “life education in the course of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior high school“ as the research subject,and draws lessons from different areas home and abroad,and on this basis first analyzes the necessity of life education in Morality and the Rule of Law teaching in junior high school,then discusses the reasons why existing teaching lacks life education,and at last put forwards approaches on how to build a diverse life education course of Morality and the Rule of Law teaching in junior high school.So this article has practical significance to help students set up correct life values and plays a pioneering role of life education in Morality and the Rule of Law course.This article discusses the life education in the junior middle school “Ethics and Rule of Law“ class through five parts.The first part is an introduction,which explains the research background and significance of life education,the current status of life education research in various regions home and abroad,the overall research methods of this article,and the innovations and deficiencies of the research.The second part:related content of life education.This part first explains the connotation of life education,the main content of life education,the theoretical basis of life education,and then clarifies the necessity of carrying out life education in the teaching of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior high schools.The third part: the status quo of life education in Morality and the Rule of Law course in junior high schools.Based on a survey of schools in Xichang,Liangshan Prefecture,the author analyzes the current life education status of junior high school students,and draws the conclusion that life education is currently in a state of lack.This part also analyzes the major problems in life education in junior high school Morality and the Rule of Law classes from the point of teachers,schools,and students.In the forth part,the author discusses the main reasons for the lack of life education in the teaching of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior high schools from three aspects: society,teachers,and students.The author believes that family,school,and society must form a joint force to create a sound life education environment for students.The fifth part,which is the main part of this article,is about approaches to build diversified life education courses in junior high school Morality and the Rule of Law teaching.The author proposes optimization countermeasures from five aspects: teachers,schools,families,society and students.The author hopes that through effective life education in Morality and the Rule of Law course,junior high school students can perceive the beauty of life during their important stage of value formation,realize the power of life,and thus form correct life values.
