The professional identity and teaching efficacy of physical education teachers play an important role for physical education teachers to establish correct professional values.Strengthening the training of the professional identity of physical education teachers and the sense of teaching efficacy is related to the effective development of school physical education.It is the starting point and goal of improving the quality of school physical education,and it is also the goal and destination of physical education teachers to improve their professional development level.Based on the survey and research on the professional identity and teaching efficacy of primary and middle school physical education teachers in southern Xinjiang,it can help primary and secondary physical education teachers in southern Xinjiang to fully understand their own professional identity and the current status of teaching efficacy,and to cultivate their own professional development and professional quality.It is of great significance.This article mainly uses the literature method and questionnaire survey method to investigate the physical education teachers of primary and secondary schools in southern Xinjiang.Through analysis of variance and related analysis,we can understand the status quo of professional identity and teaching efficacy of primary and secondary school physical education teachers in southern Xinjiang and the relationship between the two.The research results show that the professional identity of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in southern Xinjiang is relatively high,and they are at the upper-middle level.There are significant differences in variables such as age,teaching age,educational background,source area,and establishment.The monthly income level and the place of work are significant.There are no significant differences in variables such as gender,job title,etc.;the teaching efficacy of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools in southern Xinjiang is at the upper-middle level,and there are significant differences in variables such as age,teaching age,school location,and establishment status.There are no significant differences in variables such as education background,professional title,job location,monthly income level,source of origin,etc.;there is a significant positive correlation between the professional identity of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools in southern Xinjiang and the sense of teaching efficacy(p<0.01),occupation The correlation coefficient between identification and teaching efficacy is 0.433,indicating that the higher the level of professional identification,the higher the level of teaching efficacy;through regression analysis of the five factors of professional identification and the two dimensions of teaching efficacy,it is found that the five factors of professional identification It has a significant positive predictive effect on the two dimensions of teaching efficacy.According to the factors that affect the level of professional identity and teaching efficacy of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in southern Xinjiang,the following four suggestions are mainly put forward: policy and sentiment are both hands to improve the level of teachers’ professional identity;strengthen teacher retraining to improve the level of teacher’s teaching efficacy;Relax the professional title evaluation standards to improve the fairness among teachers;rationally arrange the staffing of urban and rural teachers and the group field to improve the stability of teachers.
