Abstract/Summary:
"Ordinary high school geography curriculum standards(2017 edition)" has been made clear to the development of new geography curriculum requirements,think geography curriculum should cultivate students with the necessary regional cognition,comprehensive thinking,practice and people to coordinate ability,the cultivation of the core geographic literacy become the main target of the development of geography teaching.The development of education in minority areas plays an important role in the improvement of the overall education level and quality in our country.Under the background of the new curriculum reform and the new college entrance examination,how to develop geography teaching in minority areas better? It has become a new thinking for the development of education in China.Due to the minority areas is relatively remote geographical location and limited educational resources,teaching is mainly based on traditional teaching method,with few course resources and student’s lack of interest in learning geography.How to improve student’s interest in geography learning by using local resources on the basis of existing teaching conditions has become the focus of teaching research.In this paper,based on curriculum,in Turpan M middle school as the investigation object,through the questionnaire survey to understand the present status of geography learning,analyzing the main factors affecting the region geography students learning interest,and then combined with teaching practice,use of local resources,puts forward the feasible teaching strategies,in order to enhance student’s interest in geography learning,promote the development of geography education in ethnic regions.In order to better complete the research topic,the whole research can be divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly through literature reading,to understand the current research trend of geography teaching,ethnic education and learning interest,to establish the research background and clarify the research significance for the paper.On this basis,the research content is determined,the research ideas are sorted out,and the research methods are selected to make good preparation for the development of the research.The second part is the definition of concepts and theoretical basis.First of all,ethnic education and geography learning interest are defined from three aspects of concept,characteristics and influencing factors,and the research theme of the paper is clarified.Then,the theory of humanism,stimulus-response theory,discovery learning theory and constructivism theory are used to improve the theoretical support for this study.The third part analyzes the current situation of student’s geography learning through questionnaire survey.Questionnaire survey and interview were conducted with students and teachers as the respondents to understand the current situation of student’s geography learning in ethnic minority areas,and to provide a basis for the development of the research.The fourth part analyzes the factors that affect student’s interest in learning geography.Based on the survey results,this paper analyzes the causes of student’s lack of interest in learning geography from three aspects: student’s own factors,teacher’s teaching factors and external environment factors,so as to put forward practical teaching strategies according to the case.The fifth part: Strategies to improve student’s interest in geography learning in minority areas.In view of the reasons for student’s lack of interest in geography learning in minority areas,this paper puts forward strategies from three dimensions of student’s cognition,teaching methods and society’s education,and then designs corresponding teaching,practice,experiment and test design cases based on the actual situation of the region.The sixth part is conclusions and prospects,including the main conclusions,shortcomings and prospects of the research.Under the background of the new curriculum reform and the new college entrance examination,the research intention is to promote the better development of geography teaching in ethnic minority areas.Combined with the actual situation of the region,this paper takes student’s learning interest as the starting point,and uses scientific teaching strategies to enhance student’s learning interest in geography,help them master learning methods and better develop their core literacy in geography.
