With the increasing maturity of Internet and information technology,online learning has been promoted,which also brings new challenges and opportunities to the reform of teaching mode in colleges and universities.As online learning becomes more and more popular,its drawbacks begin to show themselves.In order to better improve the learning effect,blended teaching,which combines the advantages of traditional classroom and online learning,emerges,having become the most popular and effective teaching method at present.Under the guidance of advancing educational concepts and technological means,blended teaching,represented by "rain classroom",has come into people's vision and brought students a different learning experience.As an important indicator of students' learning enthusiasm and commitment,the level of online learning participation is closely related to the effect of students' learning.The research on students' participation in online learning in the blended teaching mode to identify its main influencing factors,can help college teachers to know students' participation in online learning,in order to give students corresponding guidance in time.In addition,the research can encourage students to reflect on themselves to actively participate in future teaching activities.As a consequence,the research on how to improve students' online learning participation is of great significance to promote students to study more efficiently and with high quality.In this study,taking Kunming University of Science and Technology as an example,the current online learning participation of undergraduates in Kunming University of Science and Technology was realized,by interviewing with teachers and students who participate in blended teaching.On the basis of qualitative analysis,the main factors affecting the online learning participation of students in the blended teaching mode of "rain classroom" were explored,and based on this,the questionnaire of online learning participation was designed,in order to fit the actual situation of the respondents.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire,it was further verified that the characteristics of students,teacher promotion,learning resources,platform function,peer participation and school support all played an impact on the online learning participation of students in the blended teaching of "rain class".Finally,based on the analysis of the results of interviews and questionnaires,a scientific and feasible strategy was constructed from different dimensions to improve students' online learning participation.
