Ye Shengtao devoted his life to the theoretical research and teaching practice of Chinese education.In 1959,he condensed his educational thoughts into the “Twenty Rhymes of Chinese Teaching”(hereinafter referred to as “Twenty Rhymes”).In a short span of more than 200 words,Ye Shengtao's unique ideas in reading,writing,teaching and other aspects are covered,which can be described as the concentration and essence of his educational thoughts.With this as the center,this paper studies Ye Shengtao's thought and practice of Chinese education from point to point,in order to dig deeply the essence of his education and promote the implementation of the core quality of Chinese discipline.Around “Twenty Rhymes”,the article mainly discusses from three parts:The first chapter discusses in detail the connotation of Ye Shengtao's Chinese education thought contained in “Twenty Rhymes”,which is embodied in four aspects: to realize the new teaching goal of intellectual virtue from two aspects: to understand the theory of literature,to refine the technique and to pay equal attention to listening,speaking,reading and writing;In order to concentrate on the text and the method of intensive reading to achieve reading into the realm,understanding the spirit;The teaching of writing should be carried out by combining establishing sincerity with learning to write;From the three aspects of habit education,example teaching and learning to determine teaching,this paper discusses his thoughts of undetermined method of teaching.The second chapter is a detailed discussion of the relevant educational thought practice contained in “Twenty Rhymes”,which is embodied in four aspects: the educational goal practice of the unity of knowledge and action;Reading teaching practice that follows the train of thought to realize the true state;The writing teaching practice that causes the demand and enjoys the composition;The practice of educational teaching method by drawing inferences.The third chapter specifically discusses the instructive significance of Ye Shengtao's teaching thoughts and practical experience to the current Chinese teaching work.By combining with the current Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,this paper analyzes the inspirations of the reading method without sentence reading and the reading method of reciting beauty to the current Chinese reading.To explore how to integrate his original spherical teaching method,transposition writing method and self-reading modification method into Chinese teaching,so as to finally achieve the teaching without teaching,and let Ye Shengtao's thought still shine in Chinese teaching in the 21 st century.
