Homework assignment and correction is an important part in primary school mathematics teaching.For teachers,it plays a role of feedback,which can make teachers reflect on their own teaching,thus can improve the quality of teaching.For students,it plays a role in consolidating knowledge,thus can examine their own learning effect.Both the mathematics curriculum reform and the national policy are pressing to change the traditional concept of homework.In addition to re-consolidate students’ knowledge,it is also necessary to strengthen students’ ability to solve problems and develop their thinking through homework,so that students can enjoy the fun of learning in the homework,and thus acquire knowledge.This concept of homework in the new era needs to put forward higher requirements for the homework design,in other words,it is to put forward higher requirements for teachers.Teachers are the main executors in the teaching process of homework assignment and correction.The quality of homework design reflects the teachers’ professional ability to a large extent.Based on this reason,the author mainly from the Teacher’s point of view,to explore the problems of mathematics homework assignment and correction in rural primary school,in order to provide useful recommendations for promoting the deepening of the new curriculum reform.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature,interviews and text analysis in qualitative research methods to study the mathematics homework assignment and correction in rural primary school.The interviewees are mainly mathematics teachers in a rural primary school.The author encodes the collected interview content according to the three-level coding program to explore the teachers’ cognition of the practical effect of the mathematics homework assignment and correction,to understand the real reasons for teachers’ choice of the way to assign and correct mathematics homework,to find out the problems of the way of assigning and correcting mathematics homework in rural primary schools from interviews and text materials,as well to put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Through the investigation and research,the author found that the mathematics homework assignment and correction in rural primary school has some problems.In terms of homework content,the distribution of homework types is uneven and the type of homework is single;In the assignment,the traditional way still occupies the main position,the wechat assignment situation occurs sometimes,the teachers are lack of innovation;In the homework correction,the feedback is insufficient,the appraisal degree is not enough.In view of the existence problems,the author proposed the following several suggestions,based on the content of the response strategy,firstly;,pay attention to the diversification of types of homework,secondly,enrich the homework sources;Based on the strategy of homework assignment,firstly,design hierarchical assignment;Secondly,change teachers’ traditional idea of assignment;thirdly,request schools to strengthen the implementation of national policy.Based on the homework correction strategy,firstly,strengthen the face to face correction and the whole correction;secondly,enrich the content of comments.Through these suggestions,it is expected to be helpful to the reform of mathematics homework in rural primary schools.
