With the further deepening of China's basic education reform,the training goal of China's national education has changed from "ability" as the core to "core quality" as the center of the new stage.Chinese geography education scholars attach great importance to the research of core literacy of geography.The Ministry of Education issued a new curriculum standard in 2017,and put forward four core literacy of geography.In fact,it is the most important to cultivate students' core accomplishment of geography in geography classroom teaching,and scientific geography teaching design is of self-evident importance for classroom teaching.In 2002,M.David Merrill formally put forward the First Principles of Instruction with the purpose of improving the effectiveness of the classroom.Different from the traditional instructional design theory which focuses on the splicing theme design pattern,it emphasizes the snowballing problem design pattern.The practicality of geography requires geography teaching to pay attention to the connection with real life,and the First Principles of Instruction is problem-centered and emphasizes the solution of real life problems,which shows that the two are similar and matching.The First Principles of Instruction has important theoretical and practical significance for cultivating the core accomplishment of geography.Firstly,this paper defined relevant concepts through literature research method.In addition,combining with reference standards,the general process of geography teaching design and the current situation of geography classroom teaching,the paper constructed the teaching design mode of geography core literacy based on the First Principles of Instruction.Secondly,the students' core literacy level of geography and the use of teachers' the First Principles of Instruction were obtained through the educational survey method,and the geography teaching design during the teaching experiment was compiled according to the survey results.Finally,to carry out the education experiment,the experimental classes based on the First Principles of Instruction of geography teaching design of geography teaching,during the collected the relevant data and used SPSS software to analyze the teaching effects,and found that the experimental classes of core geographic literacy level is significantly higher than that in comparative classes,proved based on the First Principles of Instruction of geography teaching design theory of both the standard,and operational practice,promoting the improvement of the core geographic literacy level.
