Folk culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture,and is also the treasure of Chinese culture.Zhang Guying folk culture,which has a history of more than 500 years,includes a great deal of physics knowledge that deserved further exploration,investigation,transmission,and development and innovation.Taking Zhang Guying folk culture as research project,focusing on the problem of how to effectively develop and utilize the physics curriculum resources in the Zhang Guying folk culture,combining the theories of contemporary curriculum theory,constructivism theory,humanism theory and the requirements of physics curriculum standards,according to the principles of scientific,interesting,adaptive,exploitable and available,this study conducts a systematic classification research on the Zhang Guying folk culture.In this study,the physics elements of the folk culture are excavated;more than 20 effective physics curriculum resources covering mechanics,optics and heat are developed,including “stone mill”,“stone mill and rice huller”,“yoke and plough”,and “traditional oil press” and etc.Then,an in-depth analysis is carried out from the perspectives of source,structure,utilization,physical knowledge involved,methods for presenting the curriculum resources,and teaching application.On that basis,5 corresponding case analyses are developed,i.e.,“application of blower in the teaching of Curvilinear Motion”,“application of tading in the teaching of Level”,“application of Litre,Dou and Hu in the teaching of Surveying”,“application of traditional steaming wine in the teaching of Vaporization and Liquefaction” and “application of folk chandelier in the teaching of The Spread of Light”.This study presents related physics curriculum resources by the means of physical objects,proverbs,photos,schematic diagrams and 3D animation models,designs and develops various teaching activities of problem solving,scientific inquiry,experience and perception,and expanding application.The aim of the study is to guide students to understand the charm of Zhang Guying folk culture while learning physics knowledge,and explore the educational function of folk culture curriculum resources.
