Chinese teaching in Kasintorn Saint Peter Schoo has a history of ten years at least.In the past ten years,Chinese teaching in Kasintorn Saint Peter School has been becoming more and more Normalized and standardized,The Chinese teaching system and teachers are also perfecting and improving.Nevertheless,there are still many problems in the teaching of Chinese in Kasintorn Saint Peter School.As a private school similar to that in China,the Chinese language course exists as an optional course,which determines its Chinese teaching is unique compared with public schools.Based on my six months teaching practice in Kasintorn Saint Peter School.With real and specific cases,the real situation of cross-cultural communication barriers between teachers and students in Kasintorn Saint Peter Schoo of Communications is shown.In the form of a case,this paper shows the problems existing in daily communication between teachers and students.By collecting and classifying the cases of cross-cultural communication of Chinese teachers in the school,it is found that the cases of cross-cultural communication barriers between teachers and students in the school are mainly manifested in concept,language communication and non-language communication.Due to the lack of Chinese teachers ’ personal ability,students ’ weak motivation to learn Chinese,the influence of mother tongue culture and the lack of attention to Chinese teaching in schools,Chinese teaching is affected.The author mainly analyzes the causes of cross-cultural communication barriers between teachers and students in the school from the perspectives of teachers,students and schools.On the basis of case analysis,the author puts forward a series of strategies to reduce the cross-cultural communication barriers between teachers and students from the perspectives of teachers,students and schools.Firstly,from the perspective of foreign language teachers,to improve cross-cultural communication ability,specifically to cultivate cross-cultural communication awareness,master specific communication strategies,establish an open and inclusive cultural mentality.Chinese teacher strengthen the ability to use the second language,especially improve their own Thai and English level.And actively integrate into the environment of foreign culture,can better carry out teaching work and life abroad,as a messenger of the spread of Chinese culture.As a Chinese teacher,we must carefully prepare lessons before class,write teaching logs,and timely reflect after class.Secondly,students should consolidate their Chinese foundation,overcome the fear of learning Chinese and improve their interest in learning Chinese.Finally,from the perspective of school,school leaders should pay more attention to Chinese teaching ideologically,train local and fixed Chinese teachers,increase special Chinese culture courses and enrich Chinese cultural activities.Thus reduce the Chinese teachers and Thailand students due to cultural differences in communication barriers.Through the above exploration,this paper attempts to understand the situation of Chinese teaching in Kasintorn Saint Peter School,and help to reduce communication barriers between teachers and students in Kasintorn Saint Peter School of Communication,so as to be more conducive to Chinese teaching.
